I don't believe having high standards is a bad thing. If they're utterly inflexible, then there might be a problem. But, overall, standards are what make sure you like what you end up with.

You must not have ran into very many nice pirates. There were a lot of them back home, and when a lady was around, you showed respect so long as she deserved it.

Ace did say something about "noble pirates," but Ace is Ace. He's not a noble anything. He and his brother totally lack common decency. After all, I am a lady and I do deserve to be treated as one.

I like to think there is someone for everyone, that perfect match for you. It's just the looking people find hard. But for some it always turns out to be the person closest to them. It's just the case of how much you pay attention to ones heart.

That does sound romantic, doesn't it? Someone right next to you that's loved you all along without you knowing, just waiting for you to finally find out. It sucks to be that person, though, always watching the guy and hoping one day your feelings will get through. It's not fun to watch either, when all you can do is cheer them on.

What's your idea of a perfect match?

A guy who's handsome and noble, with that sort of distant, unattainable air about him. Polite, respectful, not crass and crude like the guys here. It wouldn't have to be someone who can hold his own in a fight, but there's just this special aura around a strong fighter, you know? I guess back home it would need to be a guy from a good background with a solid political position, but that's not really the case here. Should I keep going? I can keep going.

I do! I'm Kai, the daughter of Ujinaga Narita. A lot's happened since Lord Ujiyasu passed and I'm with the Toyotomi now, but who knows what's going to happen after I get home. It's kind of a totally different world now.
