I don't know if whatever is causing these strange happenings to us reads this thing but I would like to make one thing clear.

I do NOT want to spend any more days as a child.

[Liz Sherman]

[You can't see her. That might be for the better. She's a bit off put though, and her voice is deeper... and not at all Liz's voice.]

I think I ran into the witch everyone was talking about. Umm... not sure which god I upset for my day to turn out like this, but I'm ready to move on now...

This is... Liz.

... um...

It's not just my voice that changed.

Guys, do me a favor and don't eject the guy sitting on the ship. I really don't feel up to this... I think I'd rather go back to the clothing island then this. Also, raiding someones closet for better fitting cloths.

[There is a hiss as she closes her journal... something to the sound of] God, could my life get any weirder right now...

[For those around? Liz is... a guy. Got a gender swap curse put on her. It might last for a little bit, it might not. Who the hell knows...]

This is Kuzan. Better known as Aokiji to pirates in our world, because like most logia users, he has a signature fighting style that is based on his attacks.

Don't let the almost awesome afro hair fool you, however, he's as torpid as they come.

You see this fearsome would-be marine has a ten-speed bike he rides around over the ocean like the worst kind of MC loser there ever was. That's right. A ten speed bike. What the hell does it use ten speeds for? The only one he ever uses is a slow cruise that is like watching ice cubes thaw! It's not even a motorcycle! That's how useless it is.

He's got the gloves and boots like a real rider, but on a bicycle, he might as well just have the gear to deal with the cold.

So uncool.

He does make a mean ice cream though. So you know, if you're anywhere near the Friend Ship or Justice Penguin, get some. Unless you're a pirate. Then you're even more of a loser than him.

[Yup. That's it. This is a public service message brought to you by: Smoker, the worst friend ever. Carry on.]

[ Sup pirates. Bolin's coming in with a purpose and some genuine enthusiasm for you. ]

Soooo, hey everyone! There are a lot of people with these journals, so I'm guessing... probably a great chance that you have no idea who I am. That's cool. Yeah, no, hey. Again. I'm Bolin.

Just got a couple of things I've been meaning to ask about, since, you know, before whenever it was that things... started getting crazy. Still, uh. Still not exactly sure when that started, but it's been surprisingly easy to forget about stuff since then. Anyway, this is all pretty sports-related? I mean, if you wanna talk about the weather or something, I'm up for it! Kind of not what's on my mind today is all.

Alright, first things first, who here can tell me more about boxing, and is anyone up for showing a guy the ropes sometime? The guy is me, for the record. Don't worry about messing up my good looks, either. They'll be fine.

And way more importantly [ !!! ], do we have like a headcount on people who can manipulate water, earth, or fire? Oh, or airbenders! I mean, there aren't exactly rules standing for air yet, but we could figure that out, I guess. The idea is to get together a few folks to train for a little sport called pro-bending. No big deal, no big deal, just a super-great, fast-paced, really amazing sport from home that would be a lot of fun, is all. Think about it! Let me know.

[ Have a four-second pause while he thinks and makes absolutely sure he didn't forget anything.

Yeah looks like he's good. ]

Great, thanks!

WARNING:

I will no longer condone the continued harassment of local innocents nor the willful and callous destruction of their property.

The next one of you who throws a temper tantrum that causes harm to homes, stores, livelihoods, or scenery that do not belong to our enemies THE NAVY will find yourself tied up and punished in the same manner of your wanton destruction.

Davy Jones can bring you back from being murdered, but let's see what he can do with someone who is burned almost to death, shall we?

If you do not have respect for the sanctity of the lives of those around you, then I shall have no respect for you.

This is a promise.

Signed,
Elissa Cousland

[Elissa doesn't use her usual blue, ballpoint pen for this entry. While she may be overly enamoured of the wonders of plastic pen technology, a noble just doesn't make a formal proclamation with such an implement. Since she's long since rid of her old quill and ink, she has borrowed Haytham's to write out this decisive statement of warning. In it, she uses a formal, calligraphic font that is almost Celtic. It is signed with a bold, angry flourish.]

[Link's voice is not what it used to be. Those that knew him before would have little chace of recognizing him on that alone now that he'd skipped puberty and gone straight to Hero of Time 17yr old body. His voice was deep, more bass than tenor, but manner in which he spoke held the kind of innocence his 10yr old mind had always had.]

Hello everyone.

This is Link, Cabin Boy of the- Sorry. That's what I wanted to let everyone know about.

The Charming Murderess has been scuttled. It's been a few weeks since we did it, but we decided that it had to be done. Our new ship is the Sea Princess. That was the name I picked and everyone voted for it!

[Which is kind of exciting!]

So now I'm not the Cabin Boy of the Charming Murderess anymore. I'm not a Cabin Boy at all! I get to join the watch rotation on the Sea Princess and help out with much bigger things.

And the Howling Sabers want to recruit more people, too! So if you need a crew, you should ask Miss Maggie to send you to our ship. It doesn't matter what you can do, I'm sure we'll be able to find a job for you! We could really use a cook, though. Someone who knows how to make a lot of good stuff with apples.

[Sorry, Sasuke. That's how he recruits.]

Thank you! Bye everyone!

Maa, well... the wind seems to be dying down a bit.

[though it's still howling outside. He's been in the hold for the better part of three days because, among other things, his sleep mask kept blowing off. An ice shield on the deck was always an option, of course, but when it melted, Coby gave him long dramatic inward sighs and went to get the mop bucket.

So here he is, cross legged in the hold, playing cards, contemplating life and generally trying not to get a crick in his neck]

I hereby petition for a bigger ship. Though I'm not entirely sure which island would be the best choice for that.

[Flips over another card. Diamond. He can't help but think of Diamond Jozu -- Though he is not here. Twelfth Division Haruta, then. Haruta diamond, Portgas spade, Phoenix Marco the club and the hearts were for an entirely group of pirates all together so a high and low joker, then for the two relative uknowns. Fishman Namur. Fourth Divison nee Headhunter Thatch, rumored to have been assassinated by a former nakama but very much alive here. Though perhaps he was in the same boat with Portgas.]

Otherwise, who else would want to make peace with the Navy? [Club. Spade. Heart... he thought he'd shuffled all those out. To the side it goes. There was not a card for Marines of course. They were generally supposed to be the players]

[Upon the Penguin a young girl woke up. Liz Sherman is 11, long brownish hair, a scar on her forehead and swimming in her over sized clothing she woke up in. She spent all of 20 minutes pressed against a wall of the boat staring at sea for miles.]

[She was at sea.]

[HOW? Tucking herself down against the wall and beside a barrel, she shook, hearing people talk out of the little book she had in a pocket. carefully opening it, she wondered if this was a dream]

H-hello? Is anyone out there? I... I don’t think this is... where I should be.

I was at Project 66 foster care? I... I don’t remember leaving.

What’s going on? [she took a careful breath, trying to stay calm. She knew she had to stay calm.]

[The following writing is in black ink, not in cursive, and written pretty terribly. Very unlike Grell's signature red cursive.]

So, how often do you all bathe?

It's a better idea to leave Navy Balls to the Navy.

[as much as a warning he'll give to pirates and not quite pirates alike. Though it is the not quite pirates and those otherwise trapped that he's trying to speak to. Nevertheless, who will hear it will hear it.

Just underneath is a doodle that may look to some like an "M" to others like a lazily drawn sea bird in the distance, and to Smoker and Coby a sign to get over here now.]

Please don't let Miss Tojiko or Miss Futo see or hear this, Miss Journal.

[Link started his entry attempting to block Tojiko and Futo from listening in. Hopefully neither of them would have reason to visit the Hey! Listen! while he was getting advice.]

I want to go to the Masque Ball Mister Dog talked about. The one Corsair Kingdom. I need to know what I have to do to go and what I have to wear. And what my date has to wear. It's really important so please, if you know, tell me. I'll trade you a favor if you want me to. Or find you something you need. I'm good at finding things.

It's starting to look like I showed up here alone and without my team. Someone pointed out that this was the best way to find people I know, so... here it goes.

Anyone who recognizes B.P.R.D. please respond. It's Sparky.

Anyone else reading this, if you've seen a big red ape with a stone hand wandering around, please direct me to them. I suppose the ghost and mystery journal is the least shocking thing I've seen before this. Not too keen on the sailing thing though. I'm a bit more used to jumbo jets and trucks then... boats. Been a while since I bothered with the sea.

[She cut it off here, unsure if this would do anything. She didn't sign it as Liz, because she didn't want to give that away yet.]

It seems we're all trapped here against our will, though from what I've been given to understand, some have taken it better than others.

[not that he had any jurisdiction here, and he still wasn't sure what to do about that or if there was anything to do]

Still, there's much to do in the sea without resorting to piracy. It is possible to make an honest living even here. [difficult perhaps. And maybe he's talking to the wind. But sometimes in order to study the path of justice, you had to give it a little push]

If you choose otherwise, well, it's on your head.

[one way or the other]

[and at the bottom he has signed "Aokiji" with a steady hand, but also a slight flourish.]
