[Liz Sherman]

[You can't see her. That might be for the better. She's a bit off put though, and her voice is deeper... and not at all Liz's voice.]

I think I ran into the witch everyone was talking about. Umm... not sure which god I upset for my day to turn out like this, but I'm ready to move on now...

This is... Liz.

... um...

It's not just my voice that changed.

Guys, do me a favor and don't eject the guy sitting on the ship. I really don't feel up to this... I think I'd rather go back to the clothing island then this. Also, raiding someones closet for better fitting cloths.

[There is a hiss as she closes her journal... something to the sound of] God, could my life get any weirder right now...

[For those around? Liz is... a guy. Got a gender swap curse put on her. It might last for a little bit, it might not. Who the hell knows...]

Good evening. I do not mean to interrupt anyone's involvement in the race, but if anyone is available by The Penguin, could you possibly check our inventory of spare rope, please?

I may need to secure more of it, but for the moment I'll require as much as I can obtain. Unfortunately, the ship I've commandeered has run out of it and I would prefer to make these binds as comfortable as I can manage.

I will return soon,

Coby

The race is almost at an end, and I wonder if it's truly worth it. Is the reward really that great? It's truly been an exhausting journey.

[says the man who has spent most of the time protecting the ship with an ice shield as he lounged around on deck and occasionally lounged around on an island, 99% of the time with his sleep mask on. All the energy everyone else spends is wearing him out]

I wonder if a certain man has done anything indecent yet. [said casually to prick a certain man's ears as slight punishment for being strange and going to waste his attentions on a boy that is half his age.]

Maa, well, I suppose it all works out in the end. I hope the competition ends well for everyone. At least for the moment there is music. [odd singing. Probably heralding some disaster or another no doubt. That was the way of the sea, though.]

[for all those on Dnsali who wish to find Kuzan he is...lounging on an ice deck chair on the island having frozen over most of the ponds within a certain radius of himself. It's the least he can do to help the dubious cause. Almost quite literally in fact]

I suppose distancing myself from this journal hasn't warranted any good; though, I cannot say it has left me surprised. I also cannot say that I would remain entirely unobservant and inactive! For the sake of all innocent parties, I would like to make an offer--because a pirate's grudge can be terrible and terrifying as well.

As an upholder of the law on the seas I originate from, it was my sworn duty to defend the innocent--rather, I still believe in such a vow even if my status here has been demoted due to a lack of a proper Navy. As such, I volunteer my services to defend those who do not wish to fight as much as within my power.

So--I allow you to please contact me through private messages to describe to me criminals, their crimes and any offenses in which you or your allies may be put into danger. Admittedly, I'll put such things under immense scrutiny as these offers have been blatantly disrespected and mocked in the past, but dismissing all opportunities as lunacy when a few may be a success is cynical and impractical!

My name is Coby and I'm a Captain of the Marines! I will not call my allies to support unless they willingly volunteer, but in good conscience, I cannot allow transgressions to maintain their steady course into chaos! Now--

Everyone, have a pleasant day and stay safe!

Private, to Coby's crewmates:

I'm certain some of you are enjoying the spoils of this island, but for the rest of our trip, I request that I remain on the ship.

Public:

I cannot, for all intents and purposes, recommend docking at an island titles 'Fibers of Georgia'. Ultimately, it has been a needlessly stressful short span of time. For what it's worth, this is simply my opinion--but after sailing on the Grand Line and within the New World, I've never had such an unpleasant experience.

[Coby, on deck, had been wearing a pull-away police officer's uniform. It was meant for a stripper and not an officer of the law and on Fibers of Georgia, that distinction was extremely important.]

For now, I must pen a number of apologies. If I'm needed, I'll be in the supply room.

To all those of you who put up with me when I was reverted back to my childhood state, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks and apologies. Children will be children after all, even if they are well bred, and I'll be the first to tell you I'm not completely perfect. I especially appreciate those who reassured me that my son was not in fact a pirate, and I'd like to definitely apologize to you Brady. I know now that you will make an exceptional father someday, and I am very proud of you.

Kuzan... I think the less said about what I may have said to you as a child the better... though I will still have that cup of tea with you at some point if you'd like. You can forget about the flowers and poetry though.

To my last order of business I will be visiting the friendship crew for about a week, so please do not worry yourselves overly much because I will return after that. I wanted to visit Henry and make sure that everything is alright with the crew I had at one point founded. Henry, I hope you haven't cursed yourself with anything too drastic from the pink fog now that I'm paying you a visit, or I shall be very cross.

[If she sounds a bit loopy, it's because of the strange aftereffects of the storm. And her usual issues. Those aren't helping.]

Now you listen here! I'm the strongest, prettiest, bravest woman in the whole country and I don't need some matchmaker, alright? I can find a guy on my own! I totally can!

I totally can!

Maybe there should be a tournament! Yeah! A tournament! I'll fight you! I'll fight you all! That'll prove it! Whoever wins can marry me! If I say so!

I might not say so!

[After some time of contemplating things: reading and listening to the other voices of the journal, Kuzan decides to add a little mark of himself, just because. The handwriting is neat and practiced if a little big]

It seems that with the nature of whatever is going on, that we are younger than our future self. My future self is a Marine. That sounds like a lot of work, but there is a lot that needs to be taken care of. Since it is my fate, I think I want to use it to change the world.

Do you know your fates? If so, what do you think of them?

-Kuzan (Marine)apparently

[with that he'll get some food from the galley and sit on deck, alternately napping and waiting for responses]

[It's taken awhile for Hollom to really get used to his book. There've been many, many days spent looking at it, listening to it, watching the conversations that have taken place and realised that these are, in fact, different people. Out in the world. Able to connect with one another through a book.

It's certainly magical in origins. Is that magic from Heaven or Hell? Or something more neutral? He doesn't know, and that's made him reluctant.

But now? Now, he has a quill and ink and a spare moment.]

I've never seen anything like this book. It's incredible, to know people are miles apart yet able not only to write to one another instantly but actually speak as well.

I don't understand where I am or how I came to be here, if I'm honest. However, I know I am not where I last remember being.

I have been told that it is required that I go to sea. Is that true? Is there no way to otherwise earn my keep? I should like very much to remain on land if that is possible. If not, I suppose I have no choice.

I thank you all for your time.

I am, respectfully,
Jonathan Hollom

[There's been talk, he's heard, of the navy in this world. So, he won't offer his rank or service record. Because it might be taken wrong or, well, there's still the possibility that someone he knows is here. Someone who can charge him with desertion and see him killed.]

I am in need of a crew to attend to. If you are capable of taking me on as such, I shall make it worth your while. If you are worried of curses I may be able to ward against such travesties.

[It might be noticed by the Howling Sabers that Futo had not been aboard or around since the trip to the witch for Tojiko. She had said nothing and kept to herself until now finally speaking up.]

It's starting to look like I showed up here alone and without my team. Someone pointed out that this was the best way to find people I know, so... here it goes.

Anyone who recognizes B.P.R.D. please respond. It's Sparky.

Anyone else reading this, if you've seen a big red ape with a stone hand wandering around, please direct me to them. I suppose the ghost and mystery journal is the least shocking thing I've seen before this. Not too keen on the sailing thing though. I'm a bit more used to jumbo jets and trucks then... boats. Been a while since I bothered with the sea.

[She cut it off here, unsure if this would do anything. She didn't sign it as Liz, because she didn't want to give that away yet.]

It seems we're all trapped here against our will, though from what I've been given to understand, some have taken it better than others.

[not that he had any jurisdiction here, and he still wasn't sure what to do about that or if there was anything to do]

Still, there's much to do in the sea without resorting to piracy. It is possible to make an honest living even here. [difficult perhaps. And maybe he's talking to the wind. But sometimes in order to study the path of justice, you had to give it a little push]

If you choose otherwise, well, it's on your head.

[one way or the other]

[and at the bottom he has signed "Aokiji" with a steady hand, but also a slight flourish.]

Last month, the Hope of the Seas has lost another one of its members. The former Captain Homura Akemi.

As a result we're only two left on that ship. Zeref-san and I, Mami Tomoe.

A ship as the Hope of the Seas is not truly meant to be sailed by only two people, so we're actively searching for new crew members. Two or three at least.

Please contact me if you're interested in joining a crew of pacifists, that would still occasionally defend other ships in danger and is not at all prejudiced against magic users. [Quite the opposite in fact.]

...In the eventuality we wouldn't be able to find enough new crew members, we would be considering joining an existing crew. Could you please let me know if any of you are looking for new crew members? Of course, we'd rather find a crew that shares the same values as those mentioned above.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

How incredibly amusing. [ Despite his words, the man with the pointy ears and sharp teeth sounds completely unamused. ] I must say, I did not expect to end up in a place like this. In a place where from I can't return to Hell, that is. It's most curious how it's even possible, is there something very different with this worlds Hell? Or does it not exist? What about Heaven?

None the less, I suppose this is a chance to take a break from being treated as Solomon's house-keeper. This place looks like it could provide its fair share of entertainment, and as long as no one I know is here, I think I'll do just fine. Anyway, I'd be bored just being stuck on this island, so if you have any suggestions on where I could go, please do give me a heads up.

[ And he's done. Being polite is so tiring when you make public announcements, and he can't see how Solomon handles it so well. But the human is the king, so he doesn't have any choice but to choose his words well, he supposes. So he's ending it there.

For those that are around, they might see a man sit floating in the air, He might be heard muttering to himself. ]
