[voice]
[there was a sound like the journal being flung open suddenly]
hello?! Faye? Dave and Grell? What happened....
[he was freaked out for a second, trying to recall what happened and why he was laying alone on a beach and feeling like he was or had been in danger. Then it all came back]
Oh yeah. Um guys, it's Thash...

Oh yeah. Um guys, it's Thash...
no subject
...really...?
*Her voice starts tight and unsure, then quickly becomes full on angry*
Where the fuck are you?!?
no subject
[where was he?]
[he took a moment to look around. The island he was on was tiny. Probably too tiny to have any game animals or even large birds. But he spotted a larger island nearby, maybe a mile or two away. He looked over it, trying to see if it was one he recognized...]
Oh, hey. I'm right next to Aquatica Paradise! Maybe I'll just swim over to the mainland...
no subject
*But just hearing his voice, and especially him calling her 'sweetie' has Faye in tears in am instant. She does her best to hide it with anger and even louder yelling*
FORGET ANYTHING ELSE! GET YOUR SHARKY ASS HERE RIGHT NOW!!
no subject
[he was eager to see her, even though the week and five days had only felt like an indistinct and confusing few minutes or maybe hours at most]
Where are you guys?
no subject
*Then it does sound as if she's trying to get out of bed*
no subject
I'm sorry baby but...yeah, it'll help me get to you faster if you find out where you are, please...
no subject
*There's the noise of Faye carrying the journal round with her, and the occasional sound like she's trying to clear tears. Then, eventually, she shares with them where they are*
no subject
[not that she could see it, but he nodded when she gave the location] alright, I'll be there soon...[he was stepping into the waves as he spoke, but then....he hesitated. He felt a weird burning sensation start to cover his submerged skin]
Huh...?
no subject
*At once she sounds panicked and alarmed*
Are you okay?
no subject
[it started to sting so he backed up out of the water and sat down to look at his feet and calves. They were starting to look reddish and break out in little bumps]
What the...crap, ow...I think there's some kind of poison in the water!
no subject
*There's a definite sob sound from her, and the sound of something thudding against a wall*
Where are you??
no subject
I'm on a little spit of land a mile or two south of what looks like Aquatica Paradise...I've fine swimming in the beach off that island so whatever's in the water must be localized right around this tiny island...
[and it was really rather ironically crappy that he was right next to his favorite island separated by nothing but water and he couldn't swim there]
no subject
*Her voice slipped from utter exhaustion and instead of being able to reply or say anything else, Faye burst into sobs*
no subject
[it finally hit him how hard this must have been for her. If it had been nearly two weeks, she had probably started to wonder when he was coming back...or if he ever would at all]
It's okay. Im alright, honey.....we'll be together again, soon...
no subject
Let me get stuff ready, and we'll sail straight to you. Just sit tight.
*Then she disappeared off to direct the others towards the island, and took the time in between so that she could shower and freshen herself up.
It might take some time, but eventually the boat would be seen pulling into the little island*

[boy was he glad to see them when they arrived. Not just because he'd get to see Faye and the crew he loved, but because he was very dehydrated and hungry by then. He hadn't been able to get the attention of any of the people on the mainland to help him, he was too far for them to see or hear clearly. A fire would have worked, but the island was so small that any dead vegetation got blown or washed off of it...everything left was too green to set fire to]
[luckily there had at least been a few small trees for shade. Thash stood up from under them, moving slowly to the beach to watch the pull in close]

I missed you...
[the hug didn't really hurt his muscles, it was just his skin. She'd probably notice immediately it felt different. While it was normally sort of moist and soft except the scaly parts, it now felt very dry and stretched, like paper]
no subject
...are you okay? You feel...different.
no subject
[he usually kept a barrel of seawater in there for fish he caught, but seeing as how he hadn't been on the ship for a while, he couldn't be sure if it was there or not]
no subject
*Faye stepped away from him quickly, and when she turned she quickly swiped the tears from her eyes. She kept her back to him as she led the way down to the galley*
