[there was a sound like the journal being flung open suddenly]

hello?! Faye? Dave and Grell? What happened....

[he was freaked out for a second, trying to recall what happened and why he was laying alone on a beach and feeling like he was or had been in danger. Then it all came back]

Oh yeah. Um guys, it's Thash...

Haha okay.

[he put an arm around her and stepped forward. This slide was a little different...instead of sitting on it, they had people stand on a small platform that dropped out from under them with the pull of a lever by the operator. Once they were in place and were ready, the lever got pulled and the floor dropped away]

[it was a little exhilarating even for Thash since for the first half a second or so they were basically free falling...he even gave a little thrilled yell, holding onto Faye tightly. The slide was that steep. But then it'd slow slightly towards the bottom before they hit the pool at the bottom that cushioned them to a stop]

*Faye gave a scream when the platform dropped them, and she was glad that Thash squeezed hard behind her, because she hated not having much to grab onto as they fell. She squealed more or less the whole way down.

When they splashed at the bottom it was hard enough at first that she dipped under the water for a few moments. When she broke through the surface again though, her hair was covering most of her face but she burst into the loudest laughter*

That. Was. Amazing!

[he was laughing too, and grinned even bigger when he saw her laughing too]

Wasn't it?! Hahah, awesome....

*Faye flicked her hair back from her face so that she could see and moved to wrap her arms and legs around him*

Wanna do it again?

[he put an arm in the small of her back to hold her close against him and smirked. With his heart already pounding, that was rather 'exciting' indeed]

Sure!

*Before she let go, though, she hugged him again and murmured at his ear*

I'm so happy you're alive...

*Then she slowly unwrapped herself from him to start moving towards the slide again*

[he gave a small shudder to feel her close to his ear, belatedly following after her after she led the way back to the slide...just a bit of blush on his cheeks]

Yeah...me too...

*Faye glanced over her shoulder when she realised Thash hadn't fallen her immediately, and she chuckled at his blush*

Come on, you.

*And she walked back up to the front of the queue*

[he hurried along and joined her in the queue to go down again, his tail waving a bit in anticipation]

*This time when they got there, Faye ushered Thash round to be in front. Then she stood behind him, finding a way that was comfortable beside his fin and his tail*

Okay. I'm ready.

Alright, here we go...

[it was actually slightly scarier for him to not have anything to hang on to, even if all he'd had was Faye. It was good to feel her arms around him as the floor dropped out though. He yelled again; it was so fun he couldn't help it. And once again at the bottom once they'd both come to a stop and stood up, he was laughing nearly hysterically]

Ah man, that is so great...

*Faye squeezed herself to Thash very tightly. It was definitely easier when she could cling onto him like this. But it was still terrifying, it the most fun of ways. When she stood up, Faye just watched and listened to Thash laughing for a moment. It felt so good to hear, especially when lately...She thought she might not hear it again. Laughing with him felt so wonderful, that she couldn't help herself, and she just jumped forward, throwing her arms around him and pulling in for a deep kiss*

[he hugged her tightly and returned the kiss vigorously, not caring who was watching. But, at least someone was, and that someone commented]

Get a room!

*Faye hadn't even though about the fact that they were in a public space, with kids around too. It really hadn't mattered. She laughed when she heard someone comment, and she turned to the guy, arms still around Thash*

Don't worry, we will.

*Then she winked at the guy, waiting for him to leave so that she could start kissing Thash again*

[when she winked at him the guy sort of rolled his eyes and wandered off. Thash chuckled a bit]

Y'know since this a resort area there are some motels right outside the entrance gate...nice ones too.

[he kissed her again, deeply and lovingly]

*Faye chuckled at the man's expression, and she turned back to him*

Hmm...He's just jealous.

*Her eyes lit up when he mentioned the motel and she pressed her body even closer against his, running fingers down the back of his neck*

Maybe we should check them out.

[he blushed a bit] yeah...totally. Shall we then?

[he gave her a squeeze and headed back towards the entrance with an arm around her]

[as he'd said there were motels right outside the water park...some looked like they had artistically decorated designer rooms, too]

Any of these sticking out to you?

Hmm...

*Faye looked at the different buildings, and she pointed to one that looked the classiest, and probably the most expensive*

How about that one? So long as it has a bath, and does room service.

Alright...it loos like it'll have that stuff

[and fortunately he had enough saved up that he could afford it for a night or two. He'd take her in and get them a room, whichever one she wanted]

*Faye was certainly very impressed, as she always was with luxurious. They got a room that was described as 'antique Victorian' with a large claw bath tub and a four poster bed, a real wooden fire in each room*

Now this is a room.

*She grinned as she looked around at all the old style wooden furniture*

Heh cool...[he looked around too]

You know what it reminds me of? That house with all the crazy rooms. The sky room and the nighttime garden room and the snowy room and the...water room....

That's exactly why I chose it.

*Faye smiled at him brightly, so pleased to hear that's what it reminded him of. She moved to him to stand directly in front of him, very close, but not touching, just looking up at him*

You sure liked that water room, didn't you?

[he blushed a little] a few of them were pretty cool but yeah...that was probably my favorite...

*Faye still didn't really touch but she stepped forward until her chest touched his and tilted her head*

If there was a way that I could breathe under water forever..would you want me to do it?

[he blinked a bit at the unexpected question]

Well that'd be entirely up to you; I could never make a decision like that for you. And I love you just the way you are...I mean it's fun when stuff happens to let you stay underwater for a while but you're fantastic even when you can't...
