[there was a sound like the journal being flung open suddenly]

hello?! Faye? Dave and Grell? What happened....

[he was freaked out for a second, trying to recall what happened and why he was laying alone on a beach and feeling like he was or had been in danger. Then it all came back]

Oh yeah. Um guys, it's Thash...

What if my arms and legs get knocked at the sides of the slide? That's hardly very attractive...

*But then Thash was next in line, so Faye moved up the queue anxiously, her hand still on his hip*

You just keep em in close to your body and they'll be fine. It's safe...here, I'll go first to show you

[he sat on the slide, smiled back at her, then slid down. At the bottom he waved at her to show he was fine]

See? It's fun!

*Faye copied what Thash had done, then sent herself down the slide. She wasn't exactly thrilled about it at first, but when she reached the bottom, she had at least had a smile of sorts on her face*

Hmm... That was okay. But not as exciting as I thought. Can we try that one?

*She pointed towards one that was definitely more thrilling-looking than the one they'd just been on*

[he turned to her with a grin] oh you wanna try that one? Sure...

[he was just happy she enjoyed them afterall. Maybe her could get her to go in the tallest one in the park later... It was probably the only real exciting one for him since he'd ridden todal waves that dwarfed most of these slides]

Okay. Let's go.

*This time, Faye led Thash up towards the queue, which wasn't too long, but had a few more nervous looking people in it. She watched as a couple entered the slide together, and she turned to him*

Can we do it together?

Sure, that sounds fun. [he smiled confidently]

*So when it was their turn, Faye sat down comfortably, then glanced over her shoulder, waiting for Thash to join her, so they could go down the slide together*

[He sat next to her and put an arm around her] ready? Let's go!

[he pushed off and down they went, with considerably more speed than the last one]

*Faye screamed out, caught unawares by Thash pushing them off so fast. But then she laughed, leaning back against him as she enjoyed the ride down*

[he laughed as well, keeping his arms around her. At the bottom. They plunged into the pool with a great splash]

Wasn't that great?

Better!

*When she stood up in the water she had to take a moment to readjust her bikini a little*

What slide is next?

[he watched her adjust it, and she'd probably recognize a certain gleam of desire in his eyes. But he didn't want to cut the fun short; this was helping him feel alive again]

Well, there's one I'd like to try, but I'm not sure if you'd wanna...[he gestured to the tallest, fastest one in the park...the one everyone screamed when they slid down]

*Faye noticed that look in his eye, and she decided to adjust herself a little bit more, not that she needed it. It was just for show*

That one...looks a little crazy. I'll do it, if you do it with me again.

[he was still amazed sometimes by how attractive she was...or rather how attracted he was to her]

Sure, we'll go down together

Try not to make it sound so scary.

*Faye leaned in to quickly kiss him on the cheek, then turned to try and find the queues for the slide*

It's not! It'll be fun...[he smiled and kissed her in the cheek as well. As least the queues for this slide were pretty short]

*Faye looked a little anxious the closer they got to the slide, and she nervously sat down, waiting for Thash to join her*

This better not kill me... Or you, for that matter.

[he chuckled a bit]

If you'd only seen the waves and turbulent water I've been in...makes this look like a slip n slide.

Yeah, yeah, whatever, Mr Back from the Dead. Just hold on to me and let's do this.

*And she grabs his arms and puts them round her, ready to go down the slide*

Haha okay.

[he put an arm around her and stepped forward. This slide was a little different...instead of sitting on it, they had people stand on a small platform that dropped out from under them with the pull of a lever by the operator. Once they were in place and were ready, the lever got pulled and the floor dropped away]

[it was a little exhilarating even for Thash since for the first half a second or so they were basically free falling...he even gave a little thrilled yell, holding onto Faye tightly. The slide was that steep. But then it'd slow slightly towards the bottom before they hit the pool at the bottom that cushioned them to a stop]

*Faye gave a scream when the platform dropped them, and she was glad that Thash squeezed hard behind her, because she hated not having much to grab onto as they fell. She squealed more or less the whole way down.

When they splashed at the bottom it was hard enough at first that she dipped under the water for a few moments. When she broke through the surface again though, her hair was covering most of her face but she burst into the loudest laughter*

That. Was. Amazing!

[he was laughing too, and grinned even bigger when he saw her laughing too]

Wasn't it?! Hahah, awesome....

*Faye flicked her hair back from her face so that she could see and moved to wrap her arms and legs around him*

Wanna do it again?

[he put an arm in the small of her back to hold her close against him and smirked. With his heart already pounding, that was rather 'exciting' indeed]

Sure!

*Before she let go, though, she hugged him again and murmured at his ear*

I'm so happy you're alive...

*Then she slowly unwrapped herself from him to start moving towards the slide again*
