Hey everyone...

This is Selphie speaking. I mean, I know I don't sound like me. I sound like...Lea. I think. I think someone turned me into Lea overnight or something. From the sounds of things, there are lots of people like this so, I wonder if that means that someone out there has my body?

To whoever does have my body:

LOOK AFTER IT. DO NOT BREAK IT. DO NOT TOUCH YOURSELF INAPPROPRIATELY OR DO RUDE THINGS WITH GROSS PEOPLE. Or, actually, anyone. ESPECIALLY NOT AYA. If that is gonna happen, then I want to be there!

*Selphie awkwardly clears her throat, because she's acutely aware now of how weird all that sounds*

Is anyone out there me?

Lea, if you're out there somewhere, I'm looking after your body just fine. I just - being flat chested is super weird. And - having that thing between my legs is pretty funny! Tee hee! So funny!

I'm not sure what happened.

[He clears his throat.]

I sound funny, my hair isn't spikey anymore and I don't really know where I am. I went to sleep last night with my parrot at my feet but I woke up alone in a weird place.

Am I lost in dream?

[Action for the Friend Ship of Justice crew]

[You can expect Roxas wandering around, rubbing his eyes sleepily and trying to figure out where he is because this is clearly not the Hazmat ship.]

WHOEVER STOLE MY GOMU GOMU BETTER GIVE IT BACK BEFORE I KICK THEIR ASS!

[after that Draco Luffy will be tearing around the ship, looking in stuff as if searching for his hidden stretchy powers. Given that he has a bit of untrained wizardry in him, various things will either burst into flowers or catch on fire, your pick]

[It's not nice when one is pretty much by themselves on a ship. Not counting Guy whom he was sill suppose to pick up, but couldn't due to the sheer size of the ship. When he does speak, he doesn't sound like his chipper self, but the chicken that is making noise in the background does.]

It seems as if the Friend Ship is down to just two people now... The ship is too big for us to manage by ourselves and I don't know what to do. [Believe him, he had tried to handle it by himself, but that was mission impossible and trying to invite people to join wasn't easy for him.]

I guess for those who haven't joined a crew yet, I'd like to ask to please consider us. We may not be big, but as our ship name implies we aren't the type to cause needless violence. [He pauses slightly.] I guess... I just don't want this ship to die. I have a lot of happy memories here and I don't want to lose them.

[He didn't want to lose something that made him happy okay, it was bad enough being thrown in here and having nothing. But to have something and have it taken away again was not something he wanted.]

Thank you for listening, I guess.

[A cheery and slightly pompous violin piece plays in the background, as the gentle click of a tea cup being placed on a saucer can be heard.]

*Ahem*

I would like it to be brought to the attention of the crew, that I will now be serving tea on the main deck, and that those of you who consider yourself too unpolished for tea time need not show up. However, for those of you who don't show up, I will be holding a lecture on the proper manners for tea with royalty. Those who fail to attend either of these events will be hunted down, and receive an even harsher punishment from me than I would give to a captured murderous pirate. Am I perfectly understood?

[Why yes, Maribelle did just give her whole crew an ultimatum even though she's not captain. She'll just guilt trip anyone to death who would question it.]

For those of you who are not a member of our fine crew, I would ask that you take a moment to think on what it means to be a fine upstanding citizen to you. I am curious as to the general consensus of the masses.

[Before the journal closes, Brady can be heard in the background grumbling something under his breath while continuing to play for Maribelle]

[The following is rushed-looking, but fairly neat handwriting.]

I'm stuck on an island populated by giant singing fish. I'd enjoy it more if they would ever stop singing.

Anyone on the Friend Ship...are you near enough to this island to come pick me up?

If not, are there any other crews out there willing or able to help me out of here?

[One moment, he's on the deck of the Sun, then the next, he's in the crow's nest. Aya is disoriented as he gets up from a prone position on the floor of the crow's next and peers over the side. To say he's surprised by his new position is an understatement.]

How did I get up here? [He looks around, curiously.] Is this some sort of prank?

To the crew of the Friend Ship,

If you see Ciel, the chicken anywhere, please let me know as he is trying to avoid having a bath to get the gunk and glitter off his feathers.

Who would have thought rainbows could actually do that. It was amazing.

To everyone outside the crew,

Has anyone found a good method to clean it off? Because I'd rather do that than have to pluck him of his feathers. That would just be too cruel. No one wants a naked chicken running around after all.

I'll be very grateful for you help.

Finnian.

[She’s been talking to a human girl for like, the last few hours! It was scary at first, but then she just started talking and rambling and everything was spilling out of the other girl which got Ariel talking and... and... it’s so cool! Talking to a real live human!]

[And then she was told she could talk to MORE. This little journal she found could do it. HOW EXCITING!.]

Hello? I was told that I could contact more humans through this thing. Just by talking! How amazing is that? Does it really work? She called it... a “Journal”. She told me everything! This isn’t home, which is more of an adventure then I’ve ever been on. I miss my friends though but I’m sure they’d be proud of me.

Oh, but she told me about Pirates, and that there is a race going on? [she gave a chipper giggle to that] Races are great! She said there was a prize and everything. It sounds like the yearly dolphin races back in our kingdom.

[there was another pause and the sound of someone holding a hand over her mouth to hide the giggles filtering from her mouth] It feels silly talking out loud to a journal. Can people really hear me?

-----

[For those of you at Port Chance still, this is open for Action too. She’s sitting on a rock, on the beach, tail half in the water, red hair bright and a small journal in her lap. She’s pawing through it, hearing what others have said and are saying. How curious!]

[She’s spoken to enough humans at this point that she isn’t jetting away. Far too curious to run, but if you startle her she can hit the water almost instantly!]

Right, so, I've been kidnapped by Straw Hat to his ship for the duration of the race, or until I get my key to my cuffs back. Whichever comes first. [You may all now laugh at him.]

Just so you know.

And I'll probably keep training Keimi even after I return.

And since it seems Davy Jones brought a bunch more new people in... hello. My name is Smoker, yeah that's my real damn name. I'm not an expert at sailing or fighting, but I've gotten damn good at learning how to handle sailing these seas, without resorting to piracy, if by some god damn miracle, some of you are actually principled enough, so yeah. Feel free to ask or whatever.

I guess that's it.

[He's a talkative guy this one.]

[The letters that show up are all close together, the words written quickly in a scrawl that does not at all look as if it were written by a princess, someone you'd presume to be graceful and elegant. To maybe one person reading this though, the almost childish (or at least very carefree) script may look familiar. Like notes once slipped under a door...]

I guess there's people reading this, so. Okay, I'm just going to ask here. Anyone seen a fountain? Because I've been told by this journal to find a fountain if I want to know why I'm here. Yet there's not one, as far as I can tell. There's a waterfall that's really more like a waterrise. But no fountain.

For a while there I thought this was a dream, except it's even weirder than my usual dreams. Which is saying something as I once dreamed I was Joan of Arc on a quest to rescue a kind but misunderstood dragon while riding a giant talking pig. ...Okay, so maybe it's not weirder than that dream. But it's definitely going in a different direction.

[She's aware that she just used what's basically a magic community correspondence network as her own personal diary for a second there. But moving on...]

Anyway, I'm Anna. For whoever is reading this. And again, directions to that fountain would be reeeeally helpful. Assuming that fountain is going to tell me something important, anyway. Though it kind of seems like I've just been recruited by some possibly ominous force to go on an exciting, sea-faring adventure. Like maybe a race. It looks like that word's been mentioned a lot in these other entries.

[She's only skimmed through what other people have written. Maybe if she'd actually read it all instead, she'd be more aware of what was happening.]

This is working, right? [It seems like an odd question to ask, having to reassure herself that her journal is functioning properly. Still, after what she's had put up with recently, she can't help it being one of her top priorities.]

Okay, finally. [Nami lets out a deep sigh.] I never thought I'd be this glad to be back on the surface.

I'm not sure how long it's been since I fell. I lost track after a few days.

Have I missed anything important?

Spades, are the ships anywhere near Port Chance?

Hey everyone! This is Anise Tatlin, from the Friend Ship!

So, the Great Ghost Race is almost about to start, huh? It sounds pretty exciting, heheh! ♥ Who's going to be participating? I was thinking maybe we could talk about strategies?

I'm kinda worried about the whirlpools Meep mentioned though... They sound pretty scary! Has anyone dealt with them before?

[Keimi stands on the deck of the ship, a small tanto in her hand. In front of her is a mannequin, reinforced with leather. She grips it tight, bringing the blade above her head and, eyes shut tight, she swings it downward.

And misses by a mile.

She falls, but catches herself on the mannequin. With the assistance of a bubble, she is back on her tail. This time, she won't miss. The same stance, the same shut eyes, and with another swing, she sticks the blade into the mannequin's shoulder.

And when her eyes open to see what she has done, she gasps, releasing the blade's hilt and falling onto her rear in terror.]

----

[Later in the day, after she's cleaned up her mess, she takes to her journal.]

What... kind of weapon do you use... if you don't really want to hurt someone?

Private, to Coby's crewmates:

I'm certain some of you are enjoying the spoils of this island, but for the rest of our trip, I request that I remain on the ship.

Public:

I cannot, for all intents and purposes, recommend docking at an island titles 'Fibers of Georgia'. Ultimately, it has been a needlessly stressful short span of time. For what it's worth, this is simply my opinion--but after sailing on the Grand Line and within the New World, I've never had such an unpleasant experience.

[Coby, on deck, had been wearing a pull-away police officer's uniform. It was meant for a stripper and not an officer of the law and on Fibers of Georgia, that distinction was extremely important.]

For now, I must pen a number of apologies. If I'm needed, I'll be in the supply room.

[Okay, let's be honest here. Henry isn't really all that sane normally. But with this pink mist messing with him? Well...]

Eheheh, I dunno what's up with this mist, but I like it! It's all pretty and pink and... and stuff! Pffhaha, it's great! Hee, maybe it's another curse?

I really, really, reaaaaaally hope so, because for some reason curses keep skipping me and it's dumb! Oh, oh! Ha ha, I know, I should do something about it myself!

[Oh no.]

Nya ha ha ha, maybe I could... just curse myself? Heheh, yeah, that's a great idea!

Hey, heeeeeeey. Gimme ideas. For curses. Nya ha ha, come on, help me come up with a great one I can try out!

[He's pretty sure he's seen a lot of people laughing this afternoon over these journals and he just doesn't get the joke. If there was one of course. He was pretty sure a lot of what people say isn't that funny.]

Is everyone okay? I know lots of people have been laughing at nothing so I felt like I had to ask.

[He's also unsure of how to handle such a thing.]

I guess given the fact I'm not laughing means I'm not affected, which I guess in this case is probably a good thing. But uhhh... I guess I should ask my crew the same thing. Did this mist make you lot laugh at nothing as well?

Should I never see a child - or those who behave childishly - again, there is a possibility that I might find a modicum of happiness.

{No, Sebastian is not fond of children. Should one lay eyes on his face, they will notice that his red eyes are a shade darker and his lips are pressed in a thin line.}

Such mess; such disorder.

Must they touch everything with their sticky fingers?

{It's amazing that the children all survived, really.}

Captain Musa, what is our heading?

{Please, put better memories in his mind.}
