I apologise for my lengthy absence. I'm afraid I became rather ill, one of the symptoms being a severe case of fatigue. [What he isn't saying is how -- by combining low blood pressure with voluntary bloodloss, which led to anaemia. No one else needs to know any of that.] I've been trying to keep tabs on what's happened, but I may have missed some things, I admit.
It seems we're in quite a bit of trouble, aren't we?
On that note, if the crew of the Antoinette could please join me on the top deck, there's something very important we need to discuss. Thank you.

[Not that it wasn't worth it. He didn't regret what he had to do.]

Are you sure? Do you need anything? I can bring you anything in the ship that I can pull.

He can't say Tamaki's blameless, but neither is he. It was a need that he saw fit to answer. That it required him to become ill was no one's fault, really. He'd done what he needed to do. Anything less, and he'd never have forgiven himself.]
I feel fine, I promise. If I need anything, I'll ask.

[She even manages not to sound smug, or say something like 'trouble in paradise?' Don't mind her... she's still just holding the slightest of grudges.]
