So... If you guys didn't hear what Dog said, the Navy's out and coming for us...

What are the chances of them finding us here? From that description of their ships Dog gave us, we'd be pretty outgunned if even one or two of them suddenly showed up.

[aka, let's not have anyone dying again. Please.]

[Private to Ace]

Do you have a plan ready for this?

[Ace wrote in his journal, though he didn't bother signing his name. Just as he wrote, one could hear him talking to someone as well. He stalked the deck of a ship, the sound of swords being drawn and pistols being prepped being lost as the sound of bodies striking the deck could be heard in the foreground. A few shots managed to fire and swords were swung, but to no available. The sound of crackling flames overtook Ace's notebook for awhile. Men were flung back by Ace's flames while he didn't at all distract his hands as he wrote, the lot of them knocked unconscious.

Meanwhile, Ace's steps were slow and relaxed as he took a stroll through this. In his journal, he wrote--

'I've found supplies.']

Demon! What did you do to my crew!?

[Raising his head from his journal, Ace addressed the captain of the ship he boarded with some interest in his voice--though, it was clear he sounded fairly disdainful. Still, he wrote--

'I'm bringing them to the Sun.']

Yeah-- I've got that blood in my veins. [Obviously, Ace didn't realize he could be heard at the moment.]

Then die, you damned monster! [A shot fired and Ace could be heard grunting, though there was no pain to it. It just sounded like he was irritated.]

...I was gonna spare you enough to survive and start over, but if I'm a demon, I guess I can't do that.

[At that, Ace slammed his notebook shut and everything stopped. He wouldn't notice replies to the notebook for awhile, given that he spent quite a bit of time walking his supplies across Manila and back to the Sun on makeshift sleds. Behind him, he left a pile of pirates on the shore and a burning ship sinking into the water away from them.]

[And there is the rarest thing of all: a grumpy marine actually speaking to the pirates and people with journals at large.]

Is anyone else suffering side effects from the zombie thing that didn't go away on the first?

Blurghghgh [And that is a sound of someone who is definitely not Smoker, chewing on his head.] Smoker please kill me, I'm sorry... Argharghargh. Risen can't be allowed to live...

Maribelle, no. Stop that. [SIGH.] It's not even like she's trying to eat my brain, I think she just like the taste of my hair.

It's grey and smokey and... hairy... Graaaargharghargh. Smoker... I hate myself.

Maybe you just need to sleep.

Can't sleep... brains will eat me.

Go to bed.

[But instead, the journal gets slobbered sound effects. Yup. Maribelle is chewing on it. Best captain.]

[Kairi was so happy to hear that Sora was alive of all things, but now the incident has gotten Kairi thinking and thinking hard.]

Within the past week or so, a close and dear friend of mind died. It's still hurts to even mention it, but not even a day ago and he is back like nothing had happened.

While I'm happy about this, it has made me wonder something. I mean we all know that usually death is something to be considered permanent, right? That's what I was meant to believe. But here... It seems to me that there is something different when it comes to death.

Does it mean people here don't actually die? I can't really say honestly, but never the less it makes one wonder more and more about where exactly we are. I must say it's made me all the more curious to find out as much as I can. Call it an adventure. Though I might have to keep an eye on my friend for a while first. Make sure he doesn't get up to anything again.

First something gets into our brains that makes us talk like bad imitations of pirates. Then a storm out of nowhere which I'm sure almost sinked a couple of ships and scattered a few crews.

Now we have a fog and ghosts which upon touch will change you if you're lucky. Or kill you directly.

Does anyone want to make bets for what comes next? Maybe a full sea battle against the Navy while we sail in a giant whirlpool.

[He can't wait to see. Or he can. He really could live without it.]

Yo-ho, yo-ho and all that piratey bullshit. Getting that aside, how does one volunteer themselves for a crew? I'm already good to go. Not a sailor, but anybody willing to take me will get a hard-working, quick-learning gal looking for a way to get the hell out of here.

Is that enough of a resumé?

Seriously, though. This island is not a place I want to stay. I'm definitely willing to work and I could use some friendly acquaintances or good conversation while I work on getting my bearings. All takers should respond here directly and/or include crude doodles at your own childish discretion.

[ ooc: Please take a look at Misha's permissions, too! ]

[You all remember Hector, of course. The ass who's torn apart most of the folks who've asked stupid questions? And has been highly offended at the assumptions about the way he speaks? Well, he's just come upon a thought that struck him out of the blue, and really, in his opinion you just might want to pay attention.

But hoo boy, does he sound full of schadenfreude. Because he is.]

Just as an aside, as that execution do bring some things to mind. At least for meself, as I'm a bit more versed in the laws and rules of the sea...

You do realize, o'course, with your sailing and bartering without proper papers - letters o' marque or otherwise granting you permission to do such from a nation - you are all, in fact, committing acts of piracy, aye?

No papers, no authority to conduct yourself as a legitimate crew. No authority, of course, to organize yourself in a militaristic force. You aren't privateers. You aren't merchants, and you aren't treasure hunters.

You're pirates. Piss poor excuses for pirates, I'll grant ye that, but not a single soul brought to this place has authority to do anything. You're conducting in black market trade, operating a craft that is not, in fact, registered in any home port, and not a single one among ye has a place ye make berth.

This, of course, does include our little ship full o'sparkle and light in the name of justice et cetera, et cetera.

Pirates, the lot of you. Every last one of you be staring at Jack Ketch, waiting to be the next to dance the jig. No matter your noble intentions.

Hello, this is Captain Celestia Ludenberg of The Antoinette. For those of you who hadn't paid attention to the conversation Kaito-kun and myself had regarding "Scurvey Dog", allow me to explain. Thanks to the recent string of wasted questions we've dealt with as of late, I've decided that in order to ensure we do not waste yet another question, we should take a vote each week to decide what question gets asked and what person gets to ask it. Do keep in mind that both are important, as even the best question can be useless if the person asking it cannot speak clearly.

Originally I had planned to post this earlier, but due to the massive storm that hit our ship I had more important issues to deal with. We're all alright, for those who are curious. A bit shook up, but nothing major.

Regardless, onto the main point of this message. I myself will not be collecting the votes. Rather, I will be collecting the questions that each of you want answered, as well as the names of any volunteers who wish to ask Scurvey Dog the question we choose. Kaito-kun will be taking care of the actual voting, so look out for his post in a few days time.

So far, I have these questions collected:

1) What is the hard way of getting back home?
2) Why does Davy Jones want the ruby?
3A) Since we use the ruby to wish ourselves home, does that wish count for all of us or just the person who completes the ruby?
3B) If it counts for everyone, can those who prefer to stay here do so?
4) Which Nation does the navy hail from?
5) How the local sailors navigate by night?
6) What has been down to our bodies and powers?"
7) What kinds of weapons and tools does the navy possess?"
8) What information does the navy have on us?"

And that's it. I will update the list as time goes on. As for the people who wish to ask him the question, they are as follows:

1) Myself, Celestia Ludenberg
2) Kuroba Kaito

Along with the questions list, I will be updating this list as well. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here. I will answer them to the best of my ability; that is all.

[The text that appears on the page is written in a very elegant handwriting.]

Greetings. My name is Mami Tomoe.

I'm looking for a crew who'd accept two more people on their board. Or for four to six people who would be willing to form a crew with us.

If you know anyone else in the same situation, please tell them to contact me.

As was said before, it's not safe for us to say on the island for too long. Our presence seems to be highly bothering the Natives living here, and there is no point for us in uselessly angering them. [They might need their help in the future after all.]

Thanks in advance for your attention and assistance.

Oh... and I'm looking for tea as well. [She figures that while she's at it, she might as well.]

Thanks.

[Ikki definitively works better when he's alone, Isla Empieza has proved to be useless at providing an exit leaving Ikki with the only option to get out of it if he wants to continue his search. Unfortunately,it seems that his powers have been limited as he can't move beyond the island on his own means, he's stuck playing by the rules for now apparently, and those rules indicate that his best bet is to get a ship and a crew or join one. He has also learned by now that the stupid book he has been holding all this time seems to serve to communicate with others, it's not something he's comfortable with but, again, his options are limited.

He does his best on writing the message, pulling back memories of the very few calligraphy classes he got. The handwriting is clear and easy to read thanks to this, but it also looks childish, like a text written by a child who has yet to develop their own handwriting. He doesn't realize it, or think that would be a problem, so he leaves it like that.]

To all those who are busy gathering crews:

My name's Phoenix Ikki and I'm looking for a ship that will have me. My main skills rely on fighting, but I can cook well enough so that no one will get poisoned or sick, I can also clean or serve as a weight lifter, I don't really care what you'll ask me to do so long as I can get out of this island and move on. I've no interest in "being captain" or anything else, you can keep those fancy titles to yourself for all I care. If you have any questions or requirements before you accept any new members for your crew just say so.

I only have one requirement and that is that no one in the crew is afraid of fire. If fire freaks you, or any members of your current crew, out don't bother answering this and steer clear from me at the best of your ability, for your own good.

[The "phoenix" in his name isn't for show after all.]
