[Oh, well. Yes. It's actually some salami, a entire box of it, she received it from the Christmas ship. It's even labelled]

I don't know a lot about this whole Christmas day celebration, aside from what I've heard here, but, um....thanks?  I think.

[Should anyone come across her, she'll be lugging around that box to her room.  Why she is even keeping it is a mystery to her]

[idle curiosity and trying to make friend times to another person he's trying to rope into galley staff. In his case, he's cheerful since he got a little vanity kid, complete with several combs, a sharp razor, a pair of tiny scissors and about a gallon of pomade. Thank you, mystery ship]

[Rather than saying right away , Asami decides to just lay the box on the floor and open it. She pulls out a salami log in each hand, before dropping one back in the box. Uhuh]

Some Salami. I can't really say I understand it...

[She'd be less confused if it wasn't for Ace's new nickname (or real name, in his case) for her]

[he could make a crass joke or two if she were a man. But she wasn't so he wouldn't even if he couldn't exactly puzzle out the meaning of the gift himself]

[Korra jumps away from the wall, reaching to support the box as it almost takes a tumble.

It...was wrapped with my name on it. It's suppose to be some kind of tradition for a lot of people here. [Raising a hand, she taps to box Korra is carrying] Though I can't tell if mine is suppose to be a joke or not.

[Ace stood in the hall, right in front of Asami. She was in the way of him and the galley, which was a serious problem unto itself.

When he looked down to the fairly large box labelled SALAMI, Ace suddenly gave her a pitiful look that seemed to say, 'You're weird and obsessed. I'm so sorry for you.']

[What kind of look was that suppose to be, Ace? It's not like she could point at him or anything, seeing as how she was juggling a huge box around]

[He complied, if only because he figured if Salami was going to hand him a box full of Asami, then he was going to eat most of it and she should have known that from the start.]

[So, he held onto the box, fingers poised at the edges so he could quickly rip it open if he really wanted to...]

*Selphie's just leaving her own room, fully kitted out in elf costume, when she spies Asami. She must be the new girl! So she skips on over, her eyes widening at the size of the box*

Whoa! Is that your present from the ship? It's big! What is it?

[Asami is still trying to get herself acquainted with everyone on the ship, so she gives a small smile to the other girl, setting the box down. She nods and points to where it's labeled 'Salami']

I think I have enough in here to last me for a couple of months.

Wow. Nice gift. That'll come in handy! You must really like salami, huh?

Actually...I've never really eaten it. I don't know why I received a box of it, especially one so big.
