I don't know a lot about this whole Christmas day celebration, aside from what I've heard here, but, um....thanks?  I think.

[Should anyone come across her, she'll be lugging around that box to her room.  Why she is even keeping it is a mystery to her]

It...was wrapped with my name on it. It's suppose to be some kind of tradition for a lot of people here. [Raising a hand, she taps to box Korra is carrying] Though I can't tell if mine is suppose to be a joke or not.

You got me. I might even guess that Ace put it there on purpose when you weren't looking.

[Because really. Salami for Asami? It was too perfect.

Korra heaved the crate onto the ground, against the wall on the opposite side of the room from where she slept. The last thing you want to smell when you're trying to sleep is salami.]

I did! [She snatches the salami out of the air and tucks it under her arm.] It's... a lot cooler than salami. No offense. You wanna see?

None taken. [Salami isn't the most exciting thing out there and Asami can agree on that. She closes to box, now looking at korra] Let me see.

[Korra darts back to her room and retrieves her gift: Fire Nation broadswords that probably would have fit in a lot better about a hundred years ago. She thinks they're pretty cool, though.]

These! I don't have a clue how to use them, but... Maybe it's a sign I should learn!

[She whips them out of the sheath with a grin.]

[Asami smiles at the sight of them. Not only are they old Fire Nation swords and practical unlike Salami, they are pretty nifty looking. Still, she wants to point and ask-]

[Korra's grinning like a maniac. She's thrilled that she landed something so practical. And cool!]

I think they're Fire Nation! They used to fight with stuff like this, right?
