 I've found out this book is connected to all kinds of people, and it's not private to me.

So I should say 'hi' then. My name is Roxas. My best friend is Axel Lea and he's here with me. 

What kind of people are out there? Who are you? Do you like sea salt ice cream?

Well I showed up out of nowhere because my Somebody lost his heart for a bit. One of those things took it, I think, but I don't really know. When someone like Sora loses his heart, a Nobody appears. So here I am. I don't have the heart, Sora does. He got it back. Usually people remember their lives as Somebody, but not me. I don't have any memories from being Sora.

You and this...Sora guy? Are kind of the same person but not really?

[Wait does that even make sense, he's beginning to think he's only making himself more confused.]

You're alive though, right?

Yeah, I've been here for about a year now, maybe. I'm alive, I think.

I'm like Sora, but I don't know anything about him. I don't remember anything. I've seen a few of his memories in dreams, but aside from that, I don't really know him, or about him.

[He thinks? Well, Roxas at least seems more pleasant than the Risen.]

Well...does it matter?

No, I don't think so. Sora's here too. I'm going to talk to him, I'm just curious about him.

Good. The way it's been sounding, you seem enough of your own person. But I guess it doesn't hurt to be curious about him, given the situation.

So he's here too then? This Sora guy.

Yeah, there's Lea and me and Sora and Riku and Kairi. She says I talked to her once, but I don't remember that. She kind of looks like Namine.

I'm not alone. There's a lot of people on this ship. There's the girl with the brown hair too, and the captain um...Ace! That was it.

I meant from your world, but yeah, doesn't seem like there's any shortage of people around here at least. The ones on the ship I'm on are pretty friendly too.

That's good. Are you making lots of friends?

Guess you an say that, yeah.

That's good. Only Axel wanted to be my friend in the Organization. Everyone else wasn't interested and it was fun though, he's a real good friend!

What kind of organization was it?

Organization XIII. It was made up of Nobodies like myself. They wanted to make Kingdom Hearts, but Namine told me later that it's a bad thing and they're bad people.

Yeah, it's never good mixing it up with bad company. So you left?

I left before Namine told me. I didn't really know it was a bad thing. I've been with them since I showed up as a Nobody. Xemnas named me. I can't remember why I left.

Sometimes you just have this gut feeling. You can't ask your other friend? Said he was part of that same group, right?

I could ask him, but I'm not sure it's important enough to worry about. All I know is that I'm not with them now. Now they want me dead.

Kind of on the run then, eh? Yeah, that's never a fun situation to be in.

Not anymore. Before I came here I was going to join Sora. Without me, he can't wake up.

Then I just disappear, Riku said.

What, just like that?

Yeah, I'm supposed to be a part of him. I'm not supposed to exist. Namine told me.

[Wow, what do you say to that?]

Harsh.

Yeah. I was really mad when she said that. It wasn't very nice. I do exist though.
