[Rose was on the Moon, taking a break from all the centaur stuff and doing her chores, when she found one of the mechanical birds on board. She, of course, listened to its song, enjoying the tune until the end. What came after the song, caused her to go pale after hearing a voice she thought she would never hear again. It shook her up quite a bit.

[She tries to keep her voice even when she makes the post, despite what she is feeling.]

Since strange things have been appearing as of late, has anyone else found a mechanical bird? It sings quite nicely, but after listening to it, I am not sure if I want to throw it out or not. If you have found one and listened, you may know what I am talking about, but I suspect what it says will vary from person to person.

[Rose can be found on the deck of the Sun, leaning against the railing stilling holding the bird she found. Every now and then she will list to it sing again, and if someone is close enough, they can hear a man's voice come from it at the end of the song.]

[Rose looks up and sees Zoro, recognizing him as one of the members of the Strawhats. She give a small nod.]

[yanno, before he goes and finds one to listen for himself and get punched in the gut. He's not sure exactly what the point of talking mechanical birds is, otherwise.]

See of yourself. I imagine it's message and voice is going to be different for everyone. For me, it is something very bittersweet.

[not that he's going to pry into something personal. Zoro contemplates for a moment before stretching out as far as he can over the railing to take the offering.]

The voice sounded like someone who was very dear to me.

[That's really all she is going to say to someone she doesn't know well. Talking about Zieg is still hurts some.

[She lightly tosses the bird the short distance between their hands.]

[by the time he hears that, it's too late, he's gonna do it. Oh well, he'll suffer whatever happens.

The song isn't all that interesting, but what follows is the voice of a small girl, sounding a bit stern like she's berating him for something. Zoro goes completely still and blank, though his hand on the bird tightens a bit. He's absolutely silent when it ends, and tosses the bird back over the gap.]

[She easily catches the bird. The distance between the ships was too far for her to hear the voice that came from the bird, but based on his body language it confirms her assumption that the voice would be different for each person.]

Like I said over the journals, I am not sure if I want to throw it out or not.

[he nods, because he caught the journal before coming out on deck. Heard the rumors.]

Depends on how much you want to cling to the past, I guess. I've heard it for myself and I don't need to hear it again.

[A piece of sage advice from someone who didn't think twice about doing that. And maybe overdoing it a little. Either way, the disdain in his voice makes it clear he's speaking from experience.]

[Though, she is a bit reluctant to throw it away. It's bittersweet, but she misses the voice that she hears coming from the bird.]

[He doesn't sound overly thrilled admitting that. Ragna's foul-by-default mood has gotten far worse courtesy of today's "gift"; it's not like the voice was unpleasant to hear, but most of all it was painful. Really, it felt more like he was being mocked than anything else, which doesn't exactly make him eager to discuss the whole thing.]

Just a soft little song... Afterwards it says something but it is going to change depending on who listens to it.

No, not like an enemy. In fact, I would consider the voice that I heard the exact opposite of an enemy.

[She's not sure if she wants to talk about Zieg just yet, but if he asks she will answer honestly.]

[Musa wasn't exactly her usual chipper self either. She had managed to find one of those birds herself and well it had just a nice but bittersweet reminder of her mother. She really missed her right now.]

I found one... I'm snot sure if I wished I hadn't or not. But... It's always a nice reminder I suppose. To remember.

It would just upset more more otherwise, but even though I hear her voice and know she can no longer stand by my side, I know that the loved one is still in my heart.
