[Rose was on the Moon, taking a break from all the centaur stuff and doing her chores, when she found one of the mechanical birds on board. She, of course, listened to its song, enjoying the tune until the end. What came after the song, caused her to go pale after hearing a voice she thought she would never hear again. It shook her up quite a bit.

[She tries to keep her voice even when she makes the post, despite what she is feeling.]

Since strange things have been appearing as of late, has anyone else found a mechanical bird? It sings quite nicely, but after listening to it, I am not sure if I want to throw it out or not. If you have found one and listened, you may know what I am talking about, but I suspect what it says will vary from person to person.

[Rose can be found on the deck of the Sun, leaning against the railing stilling holding the bird she found. Every now and then she will list to it sing again, and if someone is close enough, they can hear a man's voice come from it at the end of the song.]

Well you do consider him your father. It is not surprising that he would be so important to you. I thought the same about my father when I was younger.

[She holds out her hand so that the bird can hop back onto it.]

Although I guess importance doesn't stop some from betraying even that which they feigned loyalty to, eh?

It sounds like you speak from experience.

[Rubs the back of his head.]

We had... a brother. [But his eyes narrow and darken at the word for once.]

He wanted power. He hid in Pops' shadow to avoid drawing attention.

His name alone is enough to set any of my brothers on edge now. He's the one who killed Thatch.

I did not realize that Thatch was supposed to be dead in your world.

[Nods.]

That's why Thatch hates his darkness ability. Teach killed him for it, and then used it to kill our Pops.

I cannot say that I blame him...

I like it.

It suits him.

I always wanted him to help me tie the others together with something like that, and now he does, eh?

I suppose.

I never realized his powers were from darkness though.

Gravity.

In a way we both represent aspects of infinity, eh?

That is one way to look at it.

When he first ate his devil fruit, he was kind of worked up about it, because Nam-chan has a big sharky mouth he can't keep shut for anything, and told him about what else happens with that power back in our world.

So I dyed my hair black to show him that we're still alike now. He's kind of dumb like that, yoi, so it takes drastic measures to get through to him.

[Rose arches a brow at that.]

What does happen with dark power back on your world?

[She's curious because darkness is her element of power and she wonders if it is different in other worlds.]

Blackbeard stole it, killed Thatch, and used it to kill our father.

And nearly killed Ace.

And will probably steal Pops' islands since there's only so much I can do to stop him.
