[Rose was on the Moon, taking a break from all the centaur stuff and doing her chores, when she found one of the mechanical birds on board. She, of course, listened to its song, enjoying the tune until the end. What came after the song, caused her to go pale after hearing a voice she thought she would never hear again. It shook her up quite a bit.

[She tries to keep her voice even when she makes the post, despite what she is feeling.]

Since strange things have been appearing as of late, has anyone else found a mechanical bird? It sings quite nicely, but after listening to it, I am not sure if I want to throw it out or not. If you have found one and listened, you may know what I am talking about, but I suspect what it says will vary from person to person.

[Rose can be found on the deck of the Sun, leaning against the railing stilling holding the bird she found. Every now and then she will list to it sing again, and if someone is close enough, they can hear a man's voice come from it at the end of the song.]

It appears so. They even sing.

What do they sing?

Just a soft little song... Afterwards it says something but it is going to change depending on who listens to it.

No, not like an enemy. In fact, I would consider the voice that I heard the exact opposite of an enemy.

[But he still sounds plenty full of trepidation about this.]

... It was the voice of someone who was very dear to me.

[She's not sure if she wants to talk about Zieg just yet, but if he asks she will answer honestly.]

And you think it'll be individually tailored to whomever listens to it?

I am fairly sure that is the case. It would be awkward if everyone hears the same thing I heard.

[And true to his word, he flits over, shifting from half bird to fully human as he lands, finishing up the rest of the path with walking.]

Are you all right? There are quite a few people from my past that no matter how much I'd give to hear them again, it'd shake me up a bit, eh?

[she nods some.]

It is heart wrenching, but I am glad that I got to hear his voice again.

[she holds out the bird to him.]

[He gives her a soft grin, nods, and holds his arm out for the bird to perch on, before cocking his head to the side like a bird himself to listen.]

[Rose lets the little bird hop over to Marco before leaning back against the railing to wait for his reaction. She can barely hear the song the bird sings before it will give its message.]

[It's Marco, so his expression doesn't change much at first, but after a little bit, it's obviously he's touched, and he closes his eyes.]

Papa...

[She bows her head some, knowing that it has to be emotional for him.]

So it is your father that you hear....

[Nods and smiles softly, eyes still closed.]

He's laughing with Ace.

The two of them were a lot alike you know? More than even I was.

Based on what little I know about him, it does not surprise me that Ace was a lot like him.

[Still grinning.]

Aye. Pops wasn't as hot-headed, of course, but they both had the same effect on people.

[She gives a slight chuckle]

Like being able to unite such an odd group of people?

[Nods.]

And you either loved him, or wanted to kill him. And sometimes both.

He sounds like a very interesting man.
