I must have missed the day of class when they taught us all the boat and ship spells. [Starting to sound whiny as he makes his way toward the inn.] Surely we could just Floo somewhere? That'd be so much easier.

[Realizes he said 'we'.]

[ All except for the ones that would take your money and beat you up, you mean. Harry has a cousin that's a pro at that. ]

If you want to look for floo powder be my guest. I'm going to see about a ship.

...Well, wait a second, hang on. Don't be rash now.

[Makes it to the inn and pushes his way inside through to the pub area, looking around. As soon as he spots Harry, he...promptly sits down at a different table.]

You're serious, then?

[Is careful not to really touch anything, because the table looks sticky.]

[ So mature, Malfoy. Nevertheless, despite having seen the other come in Harry remains stubbornly seated where he is. ]

Apparently it's either that or get arrested. Think I'll take my chances with the boat.

Yeah, I'm not really sure how much good magic is against a bullet. You do know what a bullet is, don't you?

[ It never really occurred to Harry just how much the wizarding community knew about the muggle one. From what he's seen, he guess not much. ]

[Waves that off, then crosses his arms and sits back in his chair.]

Magic is good against anything, I'm sure a simple Protego would take care of it.

Yeah, the thing that comes out of those muggle guns extremely fast they use to kill each other with, bit stupid if you ask me.

Never been up against a gun, but I think I'd try my luck with expelliarmus rather than try to time a bullet.

[Pokes distastefully at a menu that's been left on his table, since he kind of hasn't eaten all day. He isn't sure he wants to risk the food in this place, though.]

[ Wow. The food pretty much stays the same between the muggle world and wizarding one. ]

[ Just for that, he's not saying anything about being concerned about the safety of the meat. Would Malfoy even know about safety inspection laws muggles pass? ]

It's rather impossible to forget, you two practically being spellotaped together the way you are.

[Glowers at him for a moment longer, but then someone walking by with a plate of food distracts him.]

And I expect that's because not only have slipped into another world, it appears to be one before health inspections caught on.

[ Not that he knows a whole lot about that kind of thing-The Dursley's would never take him out to eat with them, but it'd come up on the news occasionally-this restaurant or that closed due to violating the health code. ]

[Not entirely sure what that is but he can work it out. Typical it's something they'd need in the muggle world. He just kinda groans.]

Whatever ship you get, make sure it has a decent bloody cook. [Pause.] Or a house-elf.

[ Wow, what a fun filled vacation this will be. ]

Fortunately for you, I know how to cook most things. [ Not that he wants to cook for Malfoy, but if it's their only option well then he won't have much of a choice. ]

[Though if Harry cooks, Draco will probably watch suspiciously over his shoulder for awhile to make sure there's no funny business going on. :|]

[ The thought will cross his mind several times, probably already has. But alas, no ingredients for anything like that. Had he been talking to anyone else he might have made a quip about it just being something you pick up on after being forced to start over ten times any time you got it wrong. ]

Anyways, better find out where to get a ship. [ And how to sail one ]

[Debates whether or not he wants to be helpful at all, and despite an overwhelming urge to just sit there and let Harry work this out himself while he supervises and nitpicks everything, eventually he reluctantly says:]

...I saw a sign for the harbor. [Then he adds a healthy dose of sarcasm, just because.] Generally there are ships in harbors.

[ Could be progress, could be Malfoy's desire to not get killed by the navy. Hard to tell, really. ]

Well yeah, that part's obvious. I just don't think stealing one would go over very well. [ Though, someone at the harbor might have some useful information so he stands up anyways. ]

I was told by some random muggle in that cursed diary thing that we should buy a ship.
