So this is how everyone's been communicating then?
Not to sound paranoid or anything but the last magically enchanted diary I wrote in that could write back tried to kill me so I'm just a bit skeptic.
But, I suppose this is as good a place as any to ask, where exactly am I?

Not to sound paranoid or anything but the last magically enchanted diary I wrote in that could write back tried to kill me so I'm just a bit skeptic.
But, I suppose this is as good a place as any to ask, where exactly am I?

[voice / kiiind of action]
[ It never really occurred to Harry just how much the wizarding community knew about the muggle one. From what he's seen, he guess not much. ]
[voice / kiiind of action]
[Thinks.]
[Squints a bit.]
...It's something to do with those muggle guns, isn't it?
[Waves that off, then crosses his arms and sits back in his chair.]
Magic is good against anything, I'm sure a simple Protego would take care of it.
[voice / kiiind of action]
Never been up against a gun, but I think I'd try my luck with expelliarmus rather than try to time a bullet.
[ What is this conversation even? ]
[voice / kiiind of action]
Well there, see? I'll shield myself, you disarm them, we can both hex their arses, and neither of us will get arrested.
[Pokes distastefully at a menu that's been left on his table, since he kind of hasn't eaten all day. He isn't sure he wants to risk the food in this place, though.]
[voice / kiiind of action]
Still think I'd rather chance the boats.
[ Wow. The food pretty much stays the same between the muggle world and wizarding one. ]
[action]
[He finally turns around in his seat, frowning Harry's way.]
You're a stubborn git, you know that?
[THAT'S DEBATABLE.]
[action]
Honestly, I suspect it's what's kept me alive all these years.
[ He supposes that by now it's an unspoken agreement that he's not going to up and leave the git to fend for himself. ]
So, I suppose the next step would be talk to someone about getting a ship.
[action]
Please, I never said I'm going with you. Though you'll probably need my help. Did you eat? You're not dead, so I can only assume whatever you ingested wasn't poisonous and I want the same thing.
[action]
Oh, Happy to to test for you. [ So much sarcasm you pampered little prat. ] They're not going to poison you. But I just had some bread and apples.
[action]
[Scrunches up his nose and gives Harry a 'you must be joking' kind of look.]
Bread and apples? Seriously? We're not Weasleys, you know—or did you not have any money on you when you woke up?
[action]
You do remember that the Weasleys are like family to me, don't you?
[ Just for that, he's not saying anything about being concerned about the safety of the meat. Would Malfoy even know about safety inspection laws muggles pass? ]
[action]
It's rather impossible to forget, you two practically being spellotaped together the way you are.
[Glowers at him for a moment longer, but then someone walking by with a plate of food distracts him.]
...Everything here looks so dodgy.
[action]
And I expect that's because not only have slipped into another world, it appears to be one before health inspections caught on.
[ Not that he knows a whole lot about that kind of thing-The Dursley's would never take him out to eat with them, but it'd come up on the news occasionally-this restaurant or that closed due to violating the health code. ]
[action]
crying little girlMANLY MAN.]Health inspections?
[Not entirely sure what that is but he can work it out. Typical it's something they'd need in the muggle world. He just kinda groans.]
Whatever ship you get, make sure it has a decent bloody cook. [Pause.] Or a house-elf.
[action]
Fortunately for you, I know how to cook most things. [ Not that he wants to cook for Malfoy, but if it's their only option well then he won't have much of a choice. ]
[action]
Really? Well. ...That's lucky.
[Though if Harry cooks, Draco will probably watch suspiciously over his shoulder for awhile to make sure there's no funny business going on. :|]
[action]
[ The thought will cross his mind several times, probably already has. But alas, no ingredients for anything like that. Had he been talking to anyone else he might have made a quip about it just being something you pick up on after being forced to start over ten times any time you got it wrong. ]
Anyways, better find out where to get a ship. [ And how to sail one ]
[action]
...I saw a sign for the harbor. [Then he adds a healthy dose of sarcasm, just because.] Generally there are ships in harbors.
[action]
Well yeah, that part's obvious. I just don't think stealing one would go over very well. [ Though, someone at the harbor might have some useful information so he stands up anyways. ]
Come on then.
[action]
I was told by some random muggle in that cursed diary thing that we should buy a ship.
[Frowns when Harry stands up.]
Wait, you want to go now?
[action]
[ He pushes his chair in and heads for the door but stops as he reaches it for a fraction of a second to wait on the other boy. ]
[action]
You're the only one who mentioned stealing at all, Potter! I was simply reminding you, again, that evidently we came here with money. [Scoffs.] As though a Malfoy would ever need to steal.
And for fuck's sake, you're not seriously thinking we can take off with just the two of us, are you?
[action]
No, just getting the boat out of the way then we can think about recruiting more people. And honestly, you're going to have to be civil about dealing with muggles. They don't usually care much for racism.
[action]
[But oh, that's right, anyone else they go with is likely to be a muggle.
Stick with just Potter?
Or surround himself with muggles?
DILEMMA.
Give him a second, he literally sways on the spot and has to reach out to steady himself against the door, groaning the whole time.]
...This is literally my worst nightmare. Alright, maybe you and I can handle—
[NOPE. No. He can't do it. Every option is awful, because he's certainly not about to sail off alone either.]
...
Everything is horrible and I hate you. Just so you know.
[/DRAMA QUEEN]
[action]
[ He's not exactly thrilled with the arrangements either but if other people are on the ship it might deter them both from killing each other. ]
