006 - audio

[Serenes did her good. The absolute peace and quiet in her mind, well, that went away. But the rest perked Rogue up a bit. Enough that she can, at least, address her fellow kidnap victims about something fairly insignificant.]

So, we're from a lot of different worlds, right? That's what I've noticed at least.

That's got me curious.

What're the "milestone" birthdays where y'all are from?

[This has nothing to do with her own upcoming birthday. Nope. Or with using a fairly benign topic to announce her presence to certain people.]

Like. Where I'm from--

You've got sixteen, which means you can drive.
Eighteen's a big deal, even though, y'know, not much y' really get. I mean, buyin' cigarettes an' votin', but that ain' really a big deal.
Then there's twenty-one, legal drinkin' age.

Anybody else got big ones? 'M just curious 'bout the differences in worlds, y'know?

[For the Spades, she's around. Keeping busy, paying close attention to how to work the sails and everything else. The same pep that was in her step on Serenes is gone, but she's also not completely skulking about like she was after Stela and before that.]

Hm... [Interesting comparisons.]

All unicorns can move objects with their magic, but typically their strongest spells are related to their personal talents. It takes most quite a bit of study to learn magic outside one's field of expertise.

If there are thought-reading spells, though, I am not aware of them. And I would most likely be.
raisethemoon: (Of course I'm best pony)

[personal profile] raisethemoon 2014-09-17 04:37 am (UTC)(link)
That is the more scientific term. 'Tis so commonplace, however, it is most often simply called "magic".
raisethemoon: (Best Pony)

[personal profile] raisethemoon 2014-09-17 02:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you, I suppose.

Do you possess any magic?
raisethemoon: (Default)

[personal profile] raisethemoon 2014-09-17 05:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh! A form of imitation?
raisethemoon: (Thou likest my night?)

[personal profile] raisethemoon 2014-09-17 06:05 pm (UTC)(link)
[Hm. That could be either interesting, or terrifyingly Tirek-like. Luna will give her the benefit of the doubt.]

Interesting! My own particular abilities are moon-raising and dreamwalking.
raisethemoon: (Dreamwalk)

[personal profile] raisethemoon 2014-09-17 06:13 pm (UTC)(link)
At times! I spend most nights patrolling for nightmares - though I have not done so here.

[She's sure her powers would work on humans, but...well, she's been occupied, and she's not even certain it's her place.]
raisethemoon: (Let us explain)

[personal profile] raisethemoon 2014-09-17 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I watch the dreams of my subjects to ensure that they are not breached by Nightmares of any sort. That is extremely rare, however, so I often provide counseling through the more mundane kind of nightmare.

[Hopefully Rogue can hear capital letters]
raisethemoon: (Awww...)

[personal profile] raisethemoon 2014-09-17 08:31 pm (UTC)(link)
That is unfortunate.

Do you believe people here would benefit from such?
raisethemoon: (Regret)

[personal profile] raisethemoon 2014-09-17 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Clearly not. I have been doing so for so long among my people that it is generally accepted now - though of course, with so many, there is a fair chance I will never visit some ponies.
raisethemoon: (FORWARD!)

[personal profile] raisethemoon 2014-09-18 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
Then I shall make the offer!

...once I have made certain it DOES work properly on humans, perhaps.
raisethemoon: (Worry)

[personal profile] raisethemoon 2014-09-18 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)
You are certain?

[Because Luna doesn't think you seem all that certain.]

I will witness whatever dream you have.
raisethemoon: (Guardian)

[personal profile] raisethemoon 2014-09-19 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
Very well.

There is nothing you need do. I shall find your dreams on my own - humans DO sleep at night, yes?
