006 - audio
[Serenes did her good. The absolute peace and quiet in her mind, well, that went away. But the rest perked Rogue up a bit. Enough that she can, at least, address her fellow kidnap victims about something fairly insignificant.]
So, we're from a lot of different worlds, right? That's what I've noticed at least.
That's got me curious.
What're the "milestone" birthdays where y'all are from?
[This has nothing to do with her own upcoming birthday. Nope. Or with using a fairly benign topic to announce her presence to certain people.]
Like. Where I'm from--
You've got sixteen, which means you can drive.
Eighteen's a big deal, even though, y'know, not much y' really get. I mean, buyin' cigarettes an' votin', but that ain' really a big deal.
Then there's twenty-one, legal drinkin' age.
Anybody else got big ones? 'M just curious 'bout the differences in worlds, y'know?
[For the Spades, she's around. Keeping busy, paying close attention to how to work the sails and everything else. The same pep that was in her step on Serenes is gone, but she's also not completely skulking about like she was after Stela and before that.]

[She brought the question on herself. And, well, she has people around her to protect her. No harm in warning others.]
I... borrow from other people. If I touch 'em, I get what they can do. For a bit.

Interesting! My own particular abilities are moon-raising and dreamwalking.

Dreamwalking, huh?
[To Rogue, that has as much potential to be terrifying as her own powers.]
Bet that's pretty cool.

[She's sure her powers would work on humans, but...well, she's been occupied, and she's not even certain it's her place.]

[Hopefully Rogue can hear capital letters]

Do you believe people here would benefit from such?

...once I have made certain it DOES work properly on humans, perhaps.

If y'need someone t' test it on...
I ain' a stranger t' helpin' people with their powers. What my school does, where I'm from.

[Because Luna doesn't think you seem all that certain.]
I will witness whatever dream you have.

There is nothing you need do. I shall find your dreams on my own - humans DO sleep at night, yes?

Good to know.
Is there anything you wish to tell me before this occurs? [If you wanna warn her of anything in there, now's your chance. Luna doesn't figure she needs it - it isn't as though she consults with ponies before entering their dreams - but it seems fair to ask.]

Where to start. Rogue's silent for a few moments before she sighs.]
There's... a lot there. Lotta bad memories, not all of 'em mine. Lotta issues. Been lied to a lot, been used a lot. An' all that...
I don' sleep well.
[Which might be why she sort of volunteered herself. Because if it can stop some of her nightmares...]

[She'll see for herself.]
no subject
[That, especially, no one should come across without being warned.]
Killed himself.
See it a lot when I'm asleep. Feel it, too. The way he died.
