[After the escape from Yuezhong -- for those on the Spade Pirates crew, he's on watch up in the crow's nest. Things seem calm at the moment, though, which means he's a liiiiittle bored, so have some random jotted down thoughts.]

Well, definitely didn't pick a boring crew to join. And here I thought I knew how to stir up trouble quickly. Then again, traveling from world to world before, I learned how to keep a low profile, too.

Guess that's not happening here. Can't complain, though. Things are good.

The sea's really quiet tonight...

Watching the ocean like this feels like I'm back home again.

[You'll hear a faint splash suddenly, and there's a pause before the writing starts up again, this time accompanied by Riku's muttered voice:]

.......Except we didn't have fish that big. Or—what is that? Is that a whale??

Even seeing a giant fish would be pretty cool.

Yeah, I guess. Last time I saw a whale or fish or—whatever as big as that one out there is, it swallowed my friend's gummi ship whole.

You've seen one before? That's so cool...

But what's a gummi ship? (Sorry!)

He was called Monstro. You like whales?

Oh, it's...a type of ship that flies through space. They can get you from world to world.

Not in particular, but I haven't seen them before except at the aquarium.

Wow! We don't have anything like that where I'm from.

I bet you see some eventually out here. It's a big ocean, after all!

Do you think there's different marine-life here than in my world?

[ ....... she immediately crosses that out ]

Wait, that was a silly question to ask.

Not too silly...pretty legit, actually. So far a lot of the things we've seen have been kind of similar to stuff I've seen in other worlds, but I bet we'll run into some really crazy things eventually!

I'm looking forward to it! May as while see the most of the world while I'm here.

Yeah, there you go. Make the best of it, right?

Have you been to very many worlds with your ship?

Yes and no. I've been to a lot of worlds, but I didn't use the gummi ship to get to them. I was kind of...separated from my friend while he had it.

We were! He's here actually.

Yeah, I saw a lot. I always wanted to visit outside worlds. It was...definitely an experience.

Oh thank goodness.

Like a dream come true?

...It's a long story.

[BECAUSE IT IS, and it's a little hard to talk about how it was cool getting to see other worlds when he was more or less fighting his best friend in the process of doing so.

What about you? Have you ever been to other worlds or is this the first time?

This is my first time. It's very exciting!

I guess exciting is one way to put it. It'd be better if we were here by choice, I think. But yeah, in general this world doesn't seem too bad.

I haven't seen enough of it yet to say if it's good or bad, but there are good aspects so far.

Have you been anywhere else other than Empieza yet? We've only been one place, but...it's interesting because both islands were way different from each other.

Not yet. We were headed to an island, but the storm knocked us off track.

Then before we even got to that island we decided to turn around and pick up a friend.

Oh, we're actually headed back now, too! I wonder if we'll pick up anymore people.

It would be nice if you did. I worry about anyone who doesn't have a crew to sail with, yet.

I guess that's up to the captain, but...yeah, hopefully everyone finds a ship to get on.
