[After the escape from Yuezhong -- for those on the Spade Pirates crew, he's on watch up in the crow's nest. Things seem calm at the moment, though, which means he's a liiiiittle bored, so have some random jotted down thoughts.]


Well, definitely didn't pick a boring crew to join. And here I thought I knew how to stir up trouble quickly. Then again, traveling from world to world before, I learned how to keep a low profile, too.

Guess that's not happening here. Can't complain, though. Things are good.

The sea's really quiet tonight...

Watching the ocean like this feels like I'm back home again.


[You'll hear a faint splash suddenly, and there's a pause before the writing starts up again, this time accompanied by Riku's muttered voice:]


.......Except we didn't have fish that big. Or—what is that? Is that a whale??

Yeah, I saw a lot. I always wanted to visit outside worlds. It was...definitely an experience.

What about you? Have you ever been to other worlds or is this the first time?

This is my first time. It's very exciting!

I guess exciting is one way to put it. It'd be better if we were here by choice, I think. But yeah, in general this world doesn't seem too bad.

I haven't seen enough of it yet to say if it's good or bad, but there are good aspects so far.

Have you been anywhere else other than Empieza yet? We've only been one place, but...it's interesting because both islands were way different from each other.

Not yet. We were headed to an island, but the storm knocked us off track.

Then before we even got to that island we decided to turn around and pick up a friend.

Oh, we're actually headed back now, too! I wonder if we'll pick up anymore people.

It would be nice if you did. I worry about anyone who doesn't have a crew to sail with, yet.

I guess that's up to the captain, but...yeah, hopefully everyone finds a ship to get on.

A little reckless. Also, he turns into fire.

Well, you don't have to. Everyone has their own strengths.

As far as strengths go, turning into fire is a pretty good one.

Definitely, but how many people can do that? Far as know, it's pretty uncommon. There are other strengths that are good, too.

I can fight. I've got a weapon called a Keyblade.

That's good, just in case it gets dangerous.

A keyblade?

Yeah, it's come in handy already.

Right. It's...well, kind of like a sword. But shaped like a...key.

It's really powerful, though!

Has there been conflict? That's too bad...

It sounds cool! Weapons can take all kinds of forms.

Nothing major, we just got in a fight with some of the locals.

True. The Keyblade alone can look different depending what kind of keychain you've got on it.

I see... They don't seem to like people lingering around here, so that makes sense. Was it on Isla Empieza, or somewhere else?
