What do you guys do when you start to miss home? Or... worry about the people and the responsibilities you left behind, even though everything is supposed to be all right?

[Everyone's in the same situation, so Korra doesn't feel so weird admitting that she's missing home. She's lucky, she realizes, that she has friends that she made both at home and here to keep her company. But still...

It's easy for me, but I know everybody else feels differently. [Because of the whole rotting corpse issue.]

I dunno. Worrying is fine--if you can't do anything about it, that sucks, but I wouldn't dismiss it and say everything'll be alright. You just gotta push to get back.

That's what I'm trying to do. It's not that I'm running out of drive, it's that... we've been stuck here for a while, now.

I was so eager to get away from the South Pole for so long, but now... I just wish I had the chance to be home.

Voice;

At the very least, you've got your friends, here. I know it doesn't match up, but I think if you focus a lot more on them, it might make things easier.

[Not that Ace had the same mentality. He was used to leaving things behind for the sake of his journey.]

Do you know anything we could do that might help?

Voice;

Yeah. And I'm thankful for you guys. Seriously.

...Maybe I'll pick up some ingredients the next time we stop, and we could cook up a Water Tribe dinner! We could do that for everyone's home cultures, even.

Voice;

[Ace didn't answer to the first part either because he was bad at accepting 'Thank You's or because he didn't want to let it slip that it was all an elaborate kidnapping.]

I dunno if I could think of anything special from my village, but--what does your tribe like to make?

...A lot of meat, mostly.

[So the Spades are already halfway there.]

Seal jerky, arctic hen, pickled fish... They have weird animals here, though, so I don't know what's around.

Voice;

[Ace was salivating. Korra could talk about the mere mention of food existing somewhere and it would make him hungry. She could even talk about the possibility of food ever having existed in any location and that would do the trick.]

Hey, do you like spicy food?!

Voice;

[rebonding]

...Yeah. I can handle it!

Voice;

Really? Well, Deesuko Ballia had this great restaurant in it that specialized in curry! When we get there, you and I oughta go!

Voice;

Oh, we're totally going.

Voice; THREAD IT OUT

Only the spiciest stuff is allowed, by the way. That's the only reason why people should eat curry--to make it as spicy as possible!
