I know I didn't know them very long but I was glad to have them. They were so nice and welcoming. I miss school and having things to study. I miss my friends...even my stupid brother. I guess I'm feeling a little homesick. I mean, it's been awhile since animals have tried to chew on me. Who knew I'd miss that?

This place is really dangerous for someone like me. We had a fight with the Navy and I was completely useless. I was scared then. I've been scared here a lot. What am I supposed to do in a situation like that?

I'm told time doesn't pass in our worlds, and I suppose that's the only logical way to explain some of the time differences that take place for people here from the same world at different points in time.

It's still natural for us to miss everyone at home, however.

You should turn your homesickness into strength! A lot of people are after the gem to go home, after all.

Y'know... being scared isn't a bad thing. I mean, maybe it is, but it also lets you be happy you're alive... And when you want to grow, you should count on your friends to stand by you! I don't think they'll take it against you. They might want you to improve but... it's for your own safety too. And they'll help you learn in their own way.

People get scared all the time, I wouldn't want you to think your useless because of that. I mean after all not everyone can fight, there are other things one can do in that type of situation and still be of help.

I should know, I knew people back home who didn't have any fighting skills, but helped in other ways. Maybe we can find that something you can do that doesn't involve fighting.

You have the same job I do on a ship. As for what you could do... Cooking has it's advantages at least. Maybe there could be a way in cooperate that into helping.

Homesick as well. That's pretty normal here since we're away from those we love for a long time.

But as people mentioned they don't know we've gone and yet we do. I think it's kind of an awful thing to go though honestly, so at least think on the positive of they can't miss you.

There are some people I miss, like I said. My phone doesn't work anymore, the battery died awhile ago. I can't even read some of the texts I had.
