[Voice]
I think I understand how I came to be here. [There isn't much inflection in her voice.] Does anyone know about the Ouran Host Club? Or anyone named Tamaki?
[She isn't going to take out her anger on anyone but him. Surely this is his doing. He really went too far this time!]
My name is Haruhi Fujioka. I'm in Class 1-A and -
I just need directions. [A map would be wonderful!] Thank you very much.
[Now onto a part meant for only Tamaki's ears, though she has no clue how to make it private.]
Dad, I'm going to rebel.

Dad, I'm going to rebel.

...Even if she's right about his reasons, he doesn't have to admit it.]
I think his injuries will do that well enough. And I don't think he'd forgive me if I asked you to avoid him.
So, we'll pay a visit.

[He pauses at the inn door and takes a breath. Then, he knocks.]
Tamaki. I've got a visitor for you.
Just don't get up, okay?
no subject
[There was knock at the door. After hearing Haruhi's voice in the journal, Tamaki was already struggling to get out of bed. His face a mixture of pain and great happiness.]
Kyouyaaaaaaaa~!!!! I talked to Haruhi!!!!
no subject
Hey. [No upsetting him. No exciting him. She edges into the room cautiously.] How are you feeling?
no subject
[Not with the Witch about, as she seemed to be. Certain people were worth protecting.]
no subject
Haruhiiiiiiiiii~!!!
[His first instinct was to twirl Haruhi, both arms trying to reach for her whilst his body was bound on the bed.
Tamaki turned to Kyouya with cheerful smile on his face.]
You found her~!!!
no subject
[She moves to his bedside quickly, frowning in concern. When she sees the golden retriever, she smiles a little. What a cute dog. She can't help scratching him behind his ears.]
Who is this?
no subject
Then she scolds him. And he looks at Haruhi like a hurt puppy.]
But.. but.. Daddy wants a hug...
[When Haruhi notices the Christmas gift Tamaki got, he reached for his puppy as well.]
I got him this Christmas. We got gifts on Christmas day from this boat. I'm still not sure what to call him. Kaoru thinks I should name him after Hikaru~!
no subject
Stay still. [She leans in and embraces him around his shoulders, avoiding his ribs.] I think Hikaru is a good name. Though he doesn't have red hair.
no subject
Too excited that he couldn't keep still, and he allowed himself to wrap his arms around Haruhi and rub their cheeks together.]
I missed you Haruhi~!!!
...Yeah, he doesn't have Hikaru's hair~!!!
no subject
If you get too excited, I'm going to have to leave. [For his sake.] And I wouldn't dye his hair. He looks more like he would be apart of your family.
no subject
[His actions come to a halt when Haruhi pulled away. But on his face remained the purest of smiles. He was just to happy to know Haruhi was here and nothing wrong has happened to her.
Then, he notices the pillow fluffing]
But.. but.. I just slept~!!!
No... don't leaaaaaaaaaave!!!
[He starts to pull his head towards the pillows and allowing Haruhi to tuck him in.]
Well, Hikaru is still my son...~!
no subject
You need as much as you can get! [She sighs.] How many ribs did you break?
[A soft laugh follows his declaration.]
And I'm your daughter. Clearly many hair colors run in this family.
no subject
[He looks up at her from his pillow and gives her a soft smile.]
..you and Kyouya won't disappear while I sleep, right?
[Haruhi's soft laughter and words caused a long and hearty laugh from the host club king.]
Yes, many hair colours indeed~!!!
no subject
He said I could have his room, but if you want us both to stay here, I don't mind.
[While the laughter is nice to hear, she is just imagining his ribs protesting.]
no subject
It would certainly make me happier~!
no subject
Then I'll sleep in here too.
no subject
[It's a calm, quiet promise. As long as Tamaki still wants both of them to stay, everything's fine. The time hasn't come. But it will, eventually.
He doesn't let himself visibly think about that.]
Do you need something to help you sleep? I have more laudanum.
no subject
[His tone was finally revealing the exhaustion his body had accumulated over the period that Kyouya and Haruhi had entered the room. Masking the pain and moving as if nothing was wrong truly exhausted the host club king's physical state. So he pushed his cheeks on the pillow and his eyes slowly closing. But he kept his violet orbs still watching over the two most important people in his life.]
No...[A brief yawn and a short flinch at the pain the yawn caused.] Having you two here is enough....
no subject
Her expression falls and she moves to sit down nearby.]
Sweet dreams. [Everything else can wait. It's strange how important these two have become to her, but she can't deny that she doesn't want to be anywhere else but here.]
no subject
[Kyouya says it calmly, very evenly. A mild drone of conversation, in a way. Nothing that will keep Tamaki awake.]
The medical equipment available here -- at least what I've been able to obtain -- is roughly that of the western world circa eighteen-hundred. Some things are older, some newer, but in general...
[A shrug. He's a poor excuse for a doctor, no real training at all, and yet he's the most qualified of them all.]
no subject
[Besides, she trusts Kyouya will be appropriate with the dosages.]
We really are in the past.
no subject
[He sighs, taking a seat at the desk.]
The whole thing is like one of Renge's manga. A group of people are pulled by a spirit into another world, one they're ill suited for, and have to collect a magical artifact to get back.
Except that unlike in a manga... there's real blood. Real lives on the line.
[Sugarcoating it won't help anyone. So, he won't even try.]
no subject
[She grimaces and sits back, taking a deep breath.]
Dad is going to be so worried.
