The whole thing is like one of Renge's manga. A group of people are pulled by a spirit into another world, one they're ill suited for, and have to collect a magical artifact to get back.

Except that unlike in a manga... there's real blood. Real lives on the line.

[Sugarcoating it won't help anyone. So, he won't even try.]

How many versions of the past can there be? [The potential answer for that question makes her head spin.] What is the magical artifact? Does anyone know what it looks like?

[She grimaces and sits back, taking a deep breath.]
