 I've found out this book is connected to all kinds of people, and it's not private to me.

So I should say 'hi' then. My name is Roxas. My best friend is Axel Lea and he's here with me. 

What kind of people are out there? Who are you? Do you like sea salt ice cream?

Well I don't know if I met everyone. Let me think.

There's Lea, and you. And Kairi. Selphie. Then there was that guy who was on fire, and the guy who was drawing pictures, the guy who taught me how to fix the sail and I found a pet bird.

Pet bird, you saw the turkey?

I don't know what kind of bird it was. It didn't want to eat a cookie though.

Yeah...I'm not sure birds are really into cookies. The turkey is the only bird on board, though—

[There's a sudden break in the writing as he pauses.]

Oh. Was it kind of fat? Or more cool looking?

It was pretty cool. I didn't want it to fly away and get lost though. It was warm to hold it, I remember that. The cookies were pretty good, he was really missing something!

Are you gonna name him? All pets need a name.

I don't know where he is right now. I've never named anything before. What are you supposed to call a bird?

Whatever you want. Maybe something that you think describes him. Or you could name him after something you like a lot.

He's the same color as that ice cream you're always talking about, maybe you could figure out something with that?

[There's a pause as Roxas tries to think about it.]

Do you think he has a heart? If not, well he was warm like fire, so I could call him Xifer.

He definitely has a heart. Most living things in this world probably do.

Xifer's a good name, though. ...If you have to stick with the X thing.

Huh, how about that. What's wrong with an X in your name? I have one.

There's nothing wrong with it, I just meant that naming things that way seemed to be an Organization thing.

Yeah, I think so. All the Nobodies. Xemnas, Axel, Roxas...

I think they just scramble your name and add an X.

[He can be clever if he tries.]

I just thought of that now though. I didn't know Lea's name was Lea.

None of us knew his name was Lea, I think. He was just Axel, I didn't even know he could come back like that. Maybe I should have, though.

Oh, I haven't really thought about it. Lea won't tell me anything about his heart.

I ask him about a lot of things. I wanted to know what it's like being a heart-person now, and how he got his heart back, and what happened, and then the guy who pushed me in the water asked me a lot of questions and I have to ask Lea those ones when I get a chance.
