 I've found out this book is connected to all kinds of people, and it's not private to me.

So I should say 'hi' then. My name is Roxas. My best friend is Axel Lea and he's here with me. 

What kind of people are out there? Who are you? Do you like sea salt ice cream?

What's a sea salt ice cream?

Hi Finnian! Sea salt ice cream is ice cream that comes on a stick that's salty and sweet at the same time. It's my favourite thing to eat.

But why would someone want an ice cream that's salty and sweet?

Because it's really delicious. Axel and I always ate ice cream together on the clock tower after work. Most days, anyway.

Salty and sweet things together is good... And it's eaten with friends.

Yep, Axel's my best friend! Oh but he's Lea now. So if you meet Lea, he's a good person to eat ice cream with.

Yeah, it's really great! At home we kind of had to part ways. I had to go to Sora. I don't know what he did after that, but it's much better not to be fighting and to be friends again.

But I don't understand why you had to part ways to g to someone else. [That logic be confusing.]

It's complicated, I think.

I'm a Nobody. It means I have no heart. Somebody, his name is Sora, lost his heart for awhile and that's how I was born. Sora got his heart back, and kept his memories and everything. I'm not too sure what Namine did, but it was something to do with his memories, and I'm sort of a piece of him. I'm not supposed to exist.

[He can probably hear Roxas sigh.]

I had to leave Axel to find Sora. Without me, Sora can't wake up. Then I'm supposed to disappear, but here I am.

But being here means you are a somebody, right? You aren't going to disappear.

I don't know. I haven't talked to Sora. I might disappear when I see him.

What happens to you when you disappear? I mean, I don't quite understand what happens to people when they die. So would it be the same thing?

Nothing, I think. Even if I died, I think it's nothing. I don't have a heart. I don't really understand it very well.
