[With the onset of what seems to be an unusual cold snap, Hubert's betting on people being stuck inside with their journals for company and nothing much else to do besides trying to get warm. So he picks up his own journal to issue a plea for help:]

Does anyone know how to get someone's tongue unstuck from a frozen pole?

[The question is punctuated by incoherently dismayed mumblings in the background. Someone coughAsbelcough got bored enough to get himself into a bit of trouble and now Hubert has to figure out how to get him out of it. And so it goes.]

My brother did. [Sigh.] He wanted to know what the frost on the pole tasted like...

Tasted like-? It just... tastes like a pole!

I tried to tell him that, but...he doesn't listen to me.

[Sigh...]

He should really listen... but, oh well! Next time he won't do it again, right?

[And Hubert just laughs a little, because honestly? He wouldn't put it past Asbel to do it again for some silly reason.]

Oh god one of those types?! Sheeeesh! Get a muzzle for him!

I think he would find a way out of it eventually.

[Or he'd plead with Hubert to get it off him and Hubert would concede because goddammit Asbel has big brother privileges.]

...Is he really like some kind of animal? Sounds like a beast even.

No, nothing like that! [...though Hubert briefly finds himself wondering what kind of animal Asbel would be.] It's just that when he really wants to do something, it's hard to tell him otherwise.

Have you ever tried convincing him that something else is even more awesome?

You know like, "oh wait wait don't go for that pole! Go play in this barrel it's way better!"

..Might not be the best thing to do but, better than the alternative. Ahaha....

Why would you play in a barrel...?

[Though Jaune's idea is generally a good one. Usually Hubert tries to dissuade his brother by listing off all the negative consequences of any given idea.]
