[ Conan hadn't yet bothered with writing in the journal, deciding that he'd instead wait and merely flip through the pages. When he'd discovered that they could broadcast what was written in them into other journals he was, naturally, intrigued. There had to be a logical explanation for it, after all. ]

That doesn't make him The Kaitou Kid.

I couldn't tell you based on that fact alone. And I doubt he'd tell you if he was seeing as Kaitou Kid is an internationally wanted jewel theif.
