[ Conan hadn't yet bothered with writing in the journal, deciding that he'd instead wait and merely flip through the pages. When he'd discovered that they could broadcast what was written in them into other journals he was, naturally, intrigued. There had to be a logical explanation for it, after all. ]

[ Finally, he puts his fountain pen to the page and writes. ]

There's a big difference between outwitting a stupid thief and living on your own on a planet infested with pirates!

[ She seems rather insistent and that's not really anything Conan can argue against. He'll just have to give in for now and pull the usually trick of wandering off when people turn their backs. ]
