Okay, everyone, listen listen! I've been doing some thinking lately and I realized that it would be a good idea to make a list of everyone's birthdays! We're all just getting to know each other and it's not something you think to ask about right away, but then you feel bad when you don't know! Maybe if I make a list here in the journal where everyone can see it, we can all keep track of it and wish each other happy birthday on our special days!

If we can't find them, I can make them! I've done a pretty great job of decorating my ship!

Nope, couldn't find any! I used paint and fabric and masking tape, but that's just the start! One day I'm gonna go shopping and find all sorts of things like animal heads!

Aww. But, you know, if you're decorating a pirate ship, you need skeletons! Just like they have at Halloween.

Hmm, it doesn't really fit my aesthetic. I think we might have some in one of our treasure chests, though.

What aesthetic are you going for? [ Part of being a professional magician is understanding how to set up a good stage, after all! ]

I guess kind of eclectic? I like bright colors and big designs and lots of little knick-knacky things hung around everywhere to liven things up. Lots of hanging fabric and picture frames, too.

So you want to be the happiest sailors on the sea? [ Or something like that. ] Maybe you need some animal print! [ Animal print is always quirky. ]

That could be good! It might be too much animal, though, 'cause I like having stuffed animals and taxidermied animal heads and stuff.
