[Voice/Action for crew]
[It begins with a crash, the flutter of pages as the book clatters open on the floor. The unmistakable thud of something hard hitting wood, and the crack as it splinters in the keyblade's wake. The noise repeats itself again and again.]
No. No no no.
[He's infuriated because anger is the most comforting emotion he has, the one he is most familiar with. His voice cracks a little though as he makes a mess of his room. The sounds of his anger begin to slow, and it ends in one simple thud as he hits the ground, breathless. His voice comes through hoarse and worn out, full of sorrow.]
Lea's gone.
[The words spoken barely above a whisper.]
No. No no no.

Lea's gone.

[Action]
[He just droops a little, because his mood is dropping fast. It isn't Marco's fault, he's just terribly depressed.]
Supposed to be I guess. I guess he's back where he belongs. We're not supposed to be together anymore.
[Action]
What did I say about that kind of thing before, eh?
Fuck fate.
Kick it in the face. Do what you want. You're a pirate, aren't you?
[Action]
[He isn't meant to cope with these things.]
I...I'm a pirate, yeah.
[Action]

[But the last time he refused, that didn't stop Lea from getting him to eat anyway. He hasn't eaten since he left and that was days ago.]

Vitamins gotta help you get stronger, and it's good for your heart too. It might make your chest hurt less.
Did you know even Ace used to get like this a lot? When he missed his little brother.
no subject
[But it could have been. Lea was always looking out for him.]
But isn't his little brother the stretchy guy? He could just go see him.
no subject
[Gives Roxas a spoonful to taste of the start.] I was surprised he didn't spend more time with his brother here, to be honest. But I think it was pride again.
no subject
[Automatically he eats the spoonful, without thinking about it.]
I guess I know about that a little. But I guess I don't understand how people are that well. But if he could just go there if he got sad...
no subject
Kid, it was... Okay remember flying over Leanne's Island? And how many days and weeks and months, and even over a year that you've been here?

No fast travel at all? Dark corridors? Nothing?
[Whoa, that's actually kind of mind blowing.]

Now do you see why I tried to get you to talk to Robin. People don't normally just close their eyes and open them someplace else. It's a tedious process involved in getting anywhere. Distance and time are linked. Lea doesn't think I can do it because he's only ever done the space-- distance jumping. Until now, I've only ever had to think about time.

I don't know but I did talk to her. I'm not sure she liked me much. I didn't really know anything helpful.
no subject
She and I discussed it already. We had a fight back then -- ah, don't tell Thatch that. Ever. But we fixed it now.
Try talking to her again. Tell her you understand now that most people don't actually travel space so quickly, but you always took it for granted before, so you didn't know it was unusual. She'll come around. Eventually.
[Head pats.]
She thinks differently and... you know how you liked to read books about people? Tell her that. She does too. You two are not so different actually. But it's deeper inside where it's harder to see, eh?
no subject
[This actually doesn't bother him so much.]
I wasn't trying to hide anything, I just got confused and I'm not good at explaining things. It's not her fault, probably. You shouldn't fight about stuff like that.
[He nods a little.]
I do like reading books...
no subject
She loves reading, so make sure she gets to know that.

[He lets out a little sigh. That feels nice, even though he's supposed to be moping.]

Or kidnap you and take you back here so I can spoil you whenever I want, eh?
no subject
[He nuzzles Marco's head. He doesn't know about the kidnapping thing, part of him would say yes right now, but he's not sure if he'd regret it. He's not fit to make any kinds of decisions really.]

[He's quiet for a moment.]
Your soup thing smells good.
[Even if he's not going to eat it.]
