[voice] Not Faye - Kidnapped
*Faye will not have been seen on her ship for at least a day. She didn't appear the previous night when she was supposed to and there was no sign of her the next day. Late into the evening, though, a gruff male voice is heard from her journal*
We have in our hands a delicious little wretch who thought she could win us out of our money. The delightful bitch won't tell us who her crew are...so here's hoping you've heard. Unless, Faye, you can be persuaded to tell us this time?
*There's a heavy thud, like a punch, followed by a quiet, muffled cry as though made by someone with their mouth gagged*
So much for co-operation.
Bring a suitable price for her, or we'll keep her to ourselves. There's plenty of her to go around and our men are rather lonely... Be a shame to ruin such a pretty face too.
*He then barks orders for how to get to their secluded little corner of a warehouse on Corsair Kingdom. When he's done there's just enough time to hear him threatening Faye before the journal appears to be taken away*
[ooc: Anyone is welcome to have some chat with the gang that have taken her. Action is for members of the Roses only]

I was so worried about you... I'm really glad you're here now, safe. Are you okay? Is there anything I can get for you or do for you?
[even though her physical injuries appeared minor, the look on her face when he'd come in and the fact that she'd been sitting on the floor told him she wasn't perfectly fine...and he didn't blame her one bit. That brute that'd been watching over her had definitely displayed the lack of respect and care he'd treated her with. Part of Thash wanted to ask her what had been done to her, but making her dredge up the memory of that would be cruel. She'd tell him eventually if she wanted to. All Thash wanted to do right now was help her feel better.]

Faye doesn't reply straight away, instead just pressing herself as close to Thash as she could manage, though she still didn't have the strength to put her arms back around him. She breathed deeply, as though she was on the verge of tears. When she did finally feel able to reply, Faye blinked up at him with wide, damp eyes*
I-I'm sorry...
no subject
Sorry? Faye, you don't have to apologize... [he said quietly, his voice almost a whisper. His eyes didn't look on her with any accusation of disappointment... Only sympathy and a regret for what had happened]
It's alright. Those jerks who took you are to blame. They've paid for their mistakes now... We don't need to think about it. You're here now and that's all that matters. I love you...
[he leaned forward again to kiss her softly on the cheek, taking care to avoid the wounds at the corners of her mouth]

But - B-but I...
*She trailed off, confused, but pleased. Not that she was smiling. Far from it. But all through her ordeal she'd kept a brave face, made sure they couldn't see that she was upset - not her kidnappers, or her crew either. But when Thash told her he loved her, and when he kissed her cheek, she cracked. Suddenly, she burst into a flood of desperately sad and sorry tears, clinging onto him and burying her face in his chest*
no subject
It's okay. Just let it all out...it's fine now. [he wasn't really trying to make much sense with what he was saying, just trying to soothe her with a gentle and friendly voice. Hearing her saddened crying made him fill with emotion as well; a strong combination of relief, love and empathetic pain. He cuddled close to her like he'd never let go]
[when the emotion subsided enough for him to think again, he wondered if she'd been apologizing because she'd dismissed his worried watching over her. Although he wished she'd let him watch over her, he didn't feel the need to bring it up. Certainly the ordeal she'd gone through was painful enough and he didn't want to add to that]

Her body shook gently with the harshness of her sobs, but she cried hard enough that she was almost silent, tears dampening his chest. Eventually, the crying subsided and she looked at Thash again, her eyes red and puffy, cheeks wet*
I'm s-so sorry... Forgive me?
*Sure, he said it was okay, but she wanted to know that he forgave her for how she treated him when he followed her that night, and the way she'd told him that she didn't need his help. She licked her lips, her tongue passing over a small cut on her lower lip, the same place where Thash had cut her before*
no subject
Of course I do, honey. Please don't worry about it, okay?
[one of his hands moved around to gently wipe the moisture from her cheeks, but again he was careful avoid spots that might still be painful. Then he put both hands on her cheeks and kissed her forehead as a simple and soft gesture that he considered all to be well between them. He could hold grudges, but definitely not over something like this. He was just grateful to have her back, and grateful she felt comfortable enough around him to cry and hold to him...it made him feel like he had an important purpose in life, to be here for her and protect her]

She did eventually open her eyes and she moved slowly so that she was sitting on his lap, arms around him this time, making sure she was as close to him as she could possibly be. For now, ignoring everything that had happened to her, she looked up into his eyes with concern*
Are you okay? They didn't hurt you too much?
no subject
I'm fine... Thanks for asking. They roughed me up a bit but the worst of it is this spot in my stomach...it's nothing I won't heal from, though.
[the rest of his minor scratches and bruises didn't really bother him much, but he would have to move his stomach slowly for a while or the gunshot wound would flare up in pain. At least it had been a small caliber, weapon, though.... The bullet hadn't gone real deep so he was confident it'd heal just fine]
Are you okay? All your wounds have been tended to? [he wanted to make sure he hadn't missed any in hard to see places...]
no subject
Yes. I'm okay.
*The worst effects from the whole ordeal was the emotional impact of the trauma. Still, she bowed her head lowly, and mumbled a reply*
But I must look hideous right now.
*And not just because she'd let her hair dry by itself and she hadn't put on any makeup. Sheknew the lines around her wrists and ankles would cause scars, but worse was the obvious injury to her mouth. Her lips were red and puffy, and the sides of her mouth had been rubbed red raw by the ropes, one or two cracks starting to scab over*
no subject
You are NOT hideous. I mean, we all have times when we're more or less presentable...but even when you're not perfectly dressed and made up and completely healthy, you're still beautiful. The things I find most attractive about you... The stupid kidnappers could do nothing to influence those things.
[he too wished he could heal her wounds, especially the painful-looking ones around her mouth. He hoped that talking to him wasn't making them hurt more.]
no subject
They...he tried to...
*But that was all that she was able to say*
no subject
You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. But if you do, I'm listening.
no subject
*Already there were things she was deliberately pushing from her memory. Things that she didn't want to ever have to think about, never mind talk about. She tilted her head so that she could look up at him, though her eyes couldn't settle on his for very long*
But I bit him. That's why they put on the rope.
*She gave a stuttered and weary sigh, lifting one ofbher hands to gently touch the raw skin at the side of her mouth*
no subject
You really are a fighter, and a brave one. Some people would be too scared or concerned for their safety to fight back.
[he raised a hand and placed it lightly on hers near her mouth wounds, but didn't touch them himself] that's why I don't think wounds or scars are ugly. They're the mark of a warrior.
no subject
Maybe you are. But I had to fight. There was no way I would sit there and let him do whatever he wanted...
*When he touched her hand, Faye felt brave enough to look him directly in the eyes, her own expression soft and grateful. She knew she looked horrible right then, but all she wanted, really, was some real reassurance from him that everything would be okay, despite whatever new scars she might have*
...will you...kiss me...?
*There was a tremble in her voice, apparently afraid and too embarrassed to ask for that so openly, making her seem incredibly shy for a moment*
no subject
Of course... [he'd wanted to kiss her for a while now, but was a bit worried] I just don't want to hurt you...so let me know if I use too much pressure or something okay?
[even if he kissed the middle of her lips he was concerned it'd hurt the sides...but since she'd asked for it with a shyness he found very endearing, he could hardly turn her down. He put a hand on her chin to support her as he leaned down and carefully placed a very soft, loving kiss on her lips]
no subject
*Though she couldn't quite be sure about that. Still, whatever pain there might be while he kissed her, it would be nothing in comparison to how good she'd also feel, and how bad she felt while she was being held in that warehouse. Still, she nodded gently in agreement anyway*
Okay.
*She sighed softly into the kiss, closing her eyes and returning the kiss equally as gently, but lovingly too*

Anything else I can do to cheer you up? I could give you a massage or play a quiet song for you, or...we could just sit here and relax.
[he gave a smile that showed just how much he enjoyed simply sitting with her in his arms]
no subject
You'd play something for me? Something quiet and then...I'm pretty tired, but will you sit with me while I nap?
no subject
[he gently moved her aside so he could get up and leave, but returned moments later with his guitar. He sat down next to her with a small smile, trying to think of what to play. Pretty much all he knew was loud rock, but he could play quiet versions of pretty much anything]
Hm, maybe I could play the song I wrote for you?
no subject
With Thash beside her she felt much better, so she lay down on the pillow instead*
Hmm...that'd be nice.

Thash. You're just so...perfect. Writing sweet songs for me like that...never thought anyone would write a song that was for me... I feel like I should do something in return...
