[voice] Not Faye - Kidnapped

 *Faye will not have been seen on her ship for at least a day. She didn't appear the previous night when she was supposed to and there was no sign of her the next day. Late into the evening, though, a gruff male voice is heard from her journal*

We have in our hands a delicious little wretch who thought she could win us out of our money. The delightful bitch won't tell us who her crew are...so here's hoping you've heard. Unless, Faye, you can be persuaded to tell us this time?

*There's a heavy thud, like a punch, followed by a quiet, muffled cry as though made by someone with their mouth gagged*

So much for co-operation.

Bring a suitable price for her, or we'll keep her to ourselves. There's plenty of her to go around and our men are rather lonely... Be a shame to ruin such a pretty face too.

*He then barks orders for how to get to their secluded little corner of a warehouse on Corsair Kingdom. When he's done there's just enough time to hear him threatening Faye before the journal appears to be taken away*

[he smiled at her and gave a light chuckle as he set the guitar aside on the floor. He moved a hand to her shoulder and rubbed it lightly]

I'm far from perfect, but thanks. You don't have to do anything... I wrote it in return for how awesome you've been to me. You're literally a dream come true for me, you know...I never thought anyone would really love me, much less be receptive of my pathetic efforts to write a song for them, heh...

[he knew now that Zace had probably never loved him, which explained why she'd never really been supportive of his musical interests. Their relationship had been very different and unsure, but he was certain Faye loved him. That was an amazing feeling.]

You're so dang important to me...I don't know what I'd do if... [he could elaborate but stopped himself, not wanting to turn the conversation back to dark things]

I love you. And I consider myself amazingly lucky to be with you. [he scooted further up into the bed and started to lay down next to her]

*Faye lay against the pillows, listening to him carefully, eyes slowly roaming over his body, passing over his injuries, but just taking him in while he sat there close to her, saying such things as Faye honestly thought she'd never hear. But it warmed her, and she could even feel herself blushing, hiding her face slightly in the pillows.

When he lay down next to her, Faye lifted a hand to poke him in the shoulder, since that was as much as she could manage right then*

You realise I'm only letting you say this stuff because I'm exhausted...

*She was teasing, really - but he was being very mushy and romantic, and Faye still didn't exactly know what to do with that, especially when it made her feel all giddy and fuzzy inside*

But I love you too.

*Faye smiled and closed her eyes, nuzzling herself close to him, clearly looking to settle down for some sleep*

Heheh... Guess I better quit with the mushiness after you wake up then huh? [he smiled and cuddled up closer to her, putting his arms around her loosely enough for comfort but close enough for security]

G'night.... Hope you have some good dreams. [he yawned a bit, his own exhaustion starting to catch up to him. He knew he'd be able to sleep peacefully like this, though]

Hmm... Maybe.

*Faye smirked up at him before settling happily in his arms, comfortable and safe, and feeling miles better than she had earlier that evening*

Though, it's not so bad, so I might let you talk like that every now and then...

*She reached up to kiss him softly on his cheek, then gently on his lips*

You too... And thank you...

Okay, heh... [his eyes closed as she kissed him and he blushed a bit when he opened them again.]

You're welcome...[he looked at her adoringly for a few seconds before kissing her softly as well then nuzzling a bit closer and closing his eyes with a content sigh]
