[there is silence a moment, just the sound of the sea to let you know the journal is open and then:]

I've decided I don't care about dating or that kind of stuff anymore.

[sent mostly to Ace and Smoker but he doesn't know how to private it or even if that's a thing really. Anyway it seemed a lot of people hadn't wanted him to think about that kind of thing in the first place so he should let them know]

I wanna be Pirate King and have all the friends I want and all the meat I want.

[and the rest of it... it didn't matter. Nothing could be better than nakama anyway. That done, he closes the journal and goes to find Smoker. He wants to spend more time with him before the race is over]

[A small giggle.]

Only if you are sure it will be okay. I am sure that Ace wouldn't mind you borrowing me for a day or two. [More coos now.]

Ehhh? You really think I'm like Ace? shishishi [that's so awesome] He's kinda smelly though...

Yes, I do think so. [She blinks before laughing at that comment towards her captain.] He isn't that smelly, Luffy.

Alright, I will head over right away then.

Okay. [he'll wait for you perched by the Nav then]

[Luffy didn't have to wait very long before she arrives via Nav. She reaches up to idly tuck a flower more into her hair before smiling over at Luffy.]

I pray that I didn't make you wait too long, Luffy.

Yo. Wanna see my octopus?

Your octopus?

[She tilts her head before taking a quick look around. Okay, no one was really watching so she moves in to try and give Luffy a quick hug.]

[he blinks but hugs her back awkwardly. Not sure why it was happening but maybe she was upset about something? She may feel something shift against her leg]

Ah, he's impatient.

[She blinks at the awkwardness and also the shifting and lets go.]

My apologizes Luffy. Shall we go and not keep him waiting then?

Sure! We don't gotta go anywhere though.

[he reaches in his pants, fighting a bit and frowning as he looks down]

Oi, oi. Don't be shy.

[She blinks and frowns before cooing at him again.]

What's wrong, Luffy? [Moving a wing to try and touch his face with the tip of it gently.]

But you were uncomfortable with it.

[the feather tickles a little and he smiles] I wasn't talking to you. [he tugs lightly and then tickles]

Haha There you go! [there is a kind of squirming and he pulls an octopus out of his pants]

This is Army. Say hi, Army. [Army lifts a tentacle]

Oh? [Birdie head tilt but she smiles when he does. But.... No, not even gonna why his hand is in his pants, not at all. Just gonna chalk it up as just being Luffy.

.....

And then he produces an octopus from his pants....

And again, not even gonna ask. Not at all.]

shishishi he-- [stops to hike up his shorts] He can do tricks watch. [he holds out the octopus]

Do Leanne. [the creature seems to blink at her and the creature's color shifts and skin bumps until it's skin sort of resembles her face and hair]

Cool, huh?

[She blinks a few times and folds her hands in front of herself and goes to watch the creature.

She goes to let out a startled gasp, fluffing her wings out completely at the sight of the thing taking on her face and hair.]

H-How did it do that? [Very unsure if like this but.... She doesn't really want to insult it so...]

Y-Y-Yeah, it's cool.

Don't be a wimp. He won't hurt you. He did it cuz he's an octopus and they can scare off predators or hide or play. [holds him out] Wanna hold him?
