008 ♔ accidental-ish voice / action for hazmat and forwarded to saturday

[Accidental-ish voice
The feed starts off with only the sounds of heels stepping on a wooden floor. Eventually even the sound of heels stop and for a moment or two, there is silence. But that doesn't last long when the silence is cut by a scream of sheer terror. Then sounds of struggle and a journal falling to the ground.]

GET IT OFF ME!! GET IT OFF ME GET IT OFF ME GET IT OF MEEEEE!!!

[Suddenly, frogs croaking everywhere. Other than a woman freaking out, that's all you hear till she picks up her journal.]

WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE THINGS!?

[Action
Basically, Cynthia woke up super early, went to get breakfast after braving the galley full of confused chickens and discovered the swarm of frogs. One of the frogs jumped into her hair and got lost. She doesn't know what these things are and they caught her waaaaay off guard. React accordingly.]

[As soon as he heard the screaming, Leo ran from below to above deck with katana's already pulled out.]

Cynthia,w hat is it?! Are we under atta...

[He then lowers his swords, straightens up, and quirks a brow.]

Are those frogs?

Alright, I'll try. Just hold still.

[He raised his katana and swung the blunt end at the part fo Cynthia's hair tat he saw moving.]

I'm trying!

[He used the tip of the blade to push a bit of hair aside, enought hat he could see the frog. He then lowered it son that he could work on untangling the long, blonde locks. Eventually, he was able to grab the frog and safely pull it out of Cynthia's head.]

Okay, I got it.
the_dancing_dork: (What?)

[personal profile] the_dancing_dork 2014-07-14 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
[...what?]

You... don't know what a frog is?

[Says this as he puts another hand on the amphibian, making sure that it didn't hop away.]
the_dancing_dork: (Explaining)

[personal profile] the_dancing_dork 2014-07-14 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I forgot about that. Well a frog is an amphibian that lives in mainly swamps and likes to eat bugs and hop around. They're pretty common in my world. There are some that are poisonous, but these look like the normal non-poisonous kind...

...and how the shell did they get onto the ship anyways?
the_dancing_dork: (Heehee...)

[personal profile] the_dancing_dork 2014-07-14 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm, well frogs are usually harmless. Though we may want to catch them before they end up getting into every single place on the ship

[And boy would that be a pain.]

Though I can handle it, you can go get your breakfast. IO'm sure that I can handle rounding them up.
the_dancing_dork: (It's up to us)

[personal profile] the_dancing_dork 2014-07-14 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
Well.. alright. We're going to need a net or something to catch all of these. And something to put them in. I don't think that they can swim and live with the water this deep, so we'll have to let them free on dry land.
the_dancing_dork: (Pondering)

[personal profile] the_dancing_dork 2014-07-14 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
Well we could keep them below deck, as long as we put them into something then they shouldn't cause much trouble. Besides they can get rid of some of the bugs that could be crawling around.
the_dancing_dork: (This Can't Be Good...)

[personal profile] the_dancing_dork 2014-07-14 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
I wasn't going to say keep them in nets, I was...

...the captain's quarters? I don't know, would Ning be okay with having a bunch of frogs in his personal space?
the_dancing_dork: (Umm...)

[personal profile] the_dancing_dork 2014-07-14 03:45 am (UTC)(link)
Well... okay, I guess we have nowhere better to but them.

[But why did he have the gut feeling that something was going to go horribly wrong?
