008 ♔ accidental-ish voice / action for hazmat and forwarded to saturday
[Accidental-ish voice
The feed starts off with only the sounds of heels stepping on a wooden floor. Eventually even the sound of heels stop and for a moment or two, there is silence. But that doesn't last long when the silence is cut by a scream of sheer terror. Then sounds of struggle and a journal falling to the ground.]
GET IT OFF ME!! GET IT OFF ME GET IT OFF ME GET IT OF MEEEEE!!!
[Suddenly, frogs croaking everywhere. Other than a woman freaking out, that's all you hear till she picks up her journal.]
WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE THINGS!?
[Action
Basically, Cynthia woke up super early, went to get breakfastafter braving the galley full of confused chickens and discovered the swarm of frogs. One of the frogs jumped into her hair and got lost. She doesn't know what these things are and they caught her waaaaay off guard. React accordingly.]

action;
Cynthia...? What's going on?
[Why are you screaming and denying your roomie her sleep.]
no subject
[ Oh yes, she's being serious. ]
no subject
[She stands up and starts to look through Cynthia's hair.] Hold still, will you?
[Some more digging and...] There he is. [Mona plucks out the frog and holds it in her hand without so much as twitching.]
You can, uh, stop freaking out now. I think your hair is going to be alright.

Cynthia,w hat is it?! Are we under atta...
[He then lowers his swords, straightens up, and quirks a brow.]
Are those frogs?
no subject
[ Sinnoh league champion and one of the strongest female trainers in the pokemon world...defeated by a frog. This was a new low for her. ]
no subject
[He raised his katana and swung the blunt end at the part fo Cynthia's hair tat he saw moving.]
no subject
Dear Arceus, be careful with that thing!
no subject
[He used the tip of the blade to push a bit of hair aside, enought hat he could see the frog. He then lowered it son that he could work on untangling the long, blonde locks. Eventually, he was able to grab the frog and safely pull it out of Cynthia's head.]
Okay, I got it.

What the heck is a frog? And is it poisonous?
no subject
You... don't know what a frog is?
[Says this as he puts another hand on the amphibian, making sure that it didn't hop away.]
no subject
[ She motions to the rest of the swarm that was still hopping around on the boat. Holding her hair up before any of them decide to follow their friend and jump in as well.]
no subject
...and how the shell did they get onto the ship anyways?
no subject
[ Looking at the door to the galley, which was currently filled with slightly confused chickens. Then cue her stomach growling. ]
Urgh...and they've deprived me of breakfast.
no subject
[And boy would that be a pain.]
Though I can handle it, you can go get your breakfast. IO'm sure that I can handle rounding them up.
no subject
[ She fishes for any ribbon in her pocket that she could use to tie her hair up. The last thing she wanted was a repeat performance. She'll have to dunk her head into a tub of water after this. Urgh. ]
Come on, I'll help you. Then we could go have breakfast together or something.

...the captain's quarters.
no subject
...the captain's quarters? I don't know, would Ning be okay with having a bunch of frogs in his personal space?

[But why did he have the gut feeling that something was going to go horribly wrong?
Action
[Yes, Wan was more concerned about the frogs' well being than Cynthia's as he called out from the upper deck where he'd been on watch.]
no subject
I wasn't planning to, but a little help would be nice.
no subject
[Wan ordered as he jumped off the upper deck to get down to her the fastest.]
I'll get it off you, just keep still. Moving around will only make it worse.
no subject
What are these things?
no subject
[Wan came up to her side and very carefully lifted the frog out of her hair, making sure to untangle it's legs from a few stray strands. That done, he held the little guy up in front of her - far enough away that he wasn't shoving it in her face.]
See? They're mostly harmless. I don't think they're spirit frogs, but they're probably just as upset about being thrown out of the sky as you are to have them land on you. They aren't supposed to be in the clouds.
no subject
[ She lean in to take a closer look at the little thing. Even poking it in the stomach and pulling up its leg to check for wings. The frog croaks in response. Nope, definitely not as cute as a froakie. ]
You don't look like a flying type.
no subject
[Which was why Wan had been on the upper deck for the watch. Better vantage point to catch them.]
We should let them off at the first island we can. We really don't have the means to care for them all. And they aren't ocean swimmers.
no subject
[ She wasn't particularly fond of these little things. But even she knew to keep creatures in a place where they could have a little space to roam around. ]
no subject
[Wan knew they had a cargo hold, but he really didn't know what, if anything, was kept there. It was just extra storage as far as he knew since the food was kept somewhere else and closer to the galley.]
no subject
no subject
[Wan was not sure that was a very good idea.]
You don't think he'd mind?
