Guys! GUYS!!! TURTLE OVERBOARD!

I repeat! Turtle. Over. Board!

We got a situation here! I went looking for Donnie, see? Because he was perfecting this tomato and garlic pizza sauce that had a hint of spice to it and it was going to be perfect and I went into his lab space and I SWEAR I was just going to ASK him how it was going and there I was looking over his things and I didn’t touch anything, I swear, and there I was and there he wasn’t so I have been all over the ship looking for him and guys... [That was all on one breath...sorry.]

Guys!

I CAN’T FIND DONNIE!

This is a major Failtastic, ultra horrific turns of events, dudes. I think he must have fallen overboard!

[whispered...] I’m freaking out, man. Where’s Donnie?

Mikey, if he's overboard, I promise you I'll find him.

What if we lost him days ago! I haven't heard his high pitched voice yell at me for like weeks! [a bit of an exaggeration]

If it'll make you feel better, I could send my pokemon to search the sea and skies for him. But are you sure he's not hiding under some pile of junk is his lab? He looks like the type to do that.

I can't go as far as I used to be able to over the water without getting exhausted, but I can search the water about a half mile out, I think? Would that help?

I don't know! It might help? he might have fallen off like a month ago, maybe. Or a few days? Or, I don't know, but he's not on the ship!

[Yeah he tends to exaggerate. It might be a day or two. You never know how long Donnie camps out in his labs. Sometimes he doesn't really notice anything.]

[He shuts the book and heads out.

About a half hour later, he opens the book back up, sounding exhausted.]

I didn't find him. That took way too much out of me.

[He's MUCH calmer now. Just sad.]

Thanks for looking, man. You're the best, Wan. [a deep sigh. He's super mellow now. Sad times.] Come to the galley. I'll get you something energizing to eat. You like fruits? I got some...

[Wan was able to walk, but he was very low on energy. If someone asked him use the elements he wasn't sure he'd be able to even keep a flame going for more than a couple seconds. Food sounded good.

As he made his way into the galley, he grinned at the turtle spirit. Trying to stay upbeat.]

[HE IS CALM! calmly bouncing back and forth on tip toes in utter worry. Donnie is RESPONSIBLE you know. He's smart too. But he cant HIDE that well.]

No! No man, I checked. I checked in everything. Even in the little glass jars, just in case he's like, still a bitty kid turtle or something. Because we were small as babies, and maybe he's a baby now? But I don't think so. I can't find him anywhere...

–but wasn't that almost a week ago? While I get you can lose someone that small, I don't think he would've gotten very far.

I donno, I donno man. Maybe it was an after spell or something. Maybe he was a late bloomer! Maybe he fell over board! I don't know. But I've been looking and I can't find him anywhere!

[FULL STOP, flails as he almost tips over. Plants his feet and looks at him all big eyed. Hands come up to either side of his head... and he checks to see if his head is on straight. If there were sound effects it would be cracking it into place. No, we're good!]

Ning-bro Captain-man! I don't know, Brains still a bit foggy from being small again, but I'm pretty sure I saw him. But not for a while. I've checked the entire ship and wouldn't be freaking out if I wasn't sure that I can't find him!

[well, that ain't good. Xingba folds his arms with a huff]

First thing's first. Let's get the ship to a stop before we get any further. That way if he did fall overboard...well, it'll be a pain in the ass turning the ship around or trying to look, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

If he did, it could have been days ago man, I haven't heard from my bro in a bit and... and I can't find him, and don't you start too, about not looking hard enough. I looked forever before I said anything and I just can't find him and what if he did fall overboard?!

I don't doubt you looked, but c'mon! If he fell overboard days ago, we're already miles away! And I ain't the world's greatest navigator so I can't guarantee we can turn the ship exactly and get it right back to that same spot!

[The second that he finished reading the entry, Leo was already zipping over to where his little brother was with an alert look.]

And you're absolutely positive that you looked through the rest of the ship?

[Up in the crow's nest when he hears Mikey freaking out about something, so he pulls out his journal to check.]

I don't know! I haven't seen him for days man, and what if he DID go over board!? Where else would he GO on this tiny ship?!

[...Right. That was a thing that could happen here. Raph groans a little.]

[The panic gets her just as much as what is actually being said. She has been there, even if she didn't realize that right away due circumstances.]

If you can't find even that maybe he... Has returned home.

[YOU, you are the one voice that is going to calm him down the most, and he doesn't even know you does he? He completely stopped panicking for a moment, to try to take in her words.]

That.... that's not how this works, does it? They said we had to make wishes and stuff. On shards! [you can hear him rummaging though, looking for that book...]

I don't really understand it well myself, but... The shards are more like the way we have to return home by our own will. But just like we are brought here against our will, we can be sent back against our will as well.

[Her voice is slightly stressed, because honestly her instinctive reaction would be to panic alongside him, just as she panicked when she realized that Ciel was gone. But the panic won't help this boy, so she has to remain calm and explain the best way she can. It's painful, it's something she personally hates and hardly sees as a comfort, but it's the truth.]

When I arrived here someone very close to me was by my side, he was with me and we sailed together but... One day he just vanished. Everything was where he left it, except for his book and when I tried to write to him privately, thinking that maybe he had took it with him... It didn't work.

So if the same has happened to your Donnie that means... He's safe at home now, but not because he wanted to.
