[sitting on the inn roof at Empieza and he's decided himself a thing]

I wanna kiss as many people as I can. [doom!] But it's hard to figure out the rules! So if you wanna kiss someone then we should definitely meet up!

[and it's the perfect solution. Because if someone wants to kiss someone as much as he wants to kiss someone then they can just kiss and it's simple]

[grunts and flops back on the roof, looking up at the sky. After a moment he says]

Usopp's here, too, but he's hurt.

[WAIT HOLD ON BACK THE TRUCK UP]

Usopp?!

What do you mean, he's hurt? What the hell happened?

I dunno. I bandaged him up so I guess he's gonna be okay but he showed up here like that.

[he doesn't think there's anyone here strong enough to hurt Usopp that badly but...]

It might have been from home.

Luffy. Do you know when he's from? [because he's not going to panic if it's Kuma-damage again]

Either way, we've got Bepo, so somebody can take care of him.

I dunno. But he looks kinda like he did from where Robin is. [time stuff is confusing...]

[and Robin is...oh shit.

He racks his brain while he stands at the railing, hasn't even jumped down to enter town yet. Did Usopp get hurt in any of their battles? Not that he can remember.

He doesn't like the sound of that.]

Right. I'll send Bepo, too. At the inn, you said?

Yeah the Lion's Head Inn. Tell Bepo first. [cuz if Zoro goes first it'll take longer]

All right, all right. I haven't left yet so I can.

[He has something he wants to ask, too, but he'll wait til Zoro gets here]

[give it a few hours. And as much as Zoro wants to look in on Usopp, he knows better. He'll check in with Luffy first, which is a good thing, because he'd never find the inn if he didn't spot the straw hat sitting up on top. Shading his good eye with his hand.]

Oi! Luffy!

[he waves. He'll come down if Zoro wants but for now waits for Zoro to come up]

[he can take a hint, and makes his way upstairs to find a way onto the roof. Assuming Luffy didn't just slingshot himself up there. Nah, he gets there.]

Oi. I found Nami. She went back to the ship to check it out.

[he crawled out the window actually but Zoro makes it to the roof so it works out]

I hope she likes it. [he leans back on his hands]

We're gonna have a lot of people now.

Yeah, we are. [he sounds pretty happy about it, as he comes over and heaves himself down to a seat next to his captain] I can't believe it, Nami and Usopp both. And old man Rayleigh.

Yeah! But Usopp had a really hard time, I guess.

[he's sort of worried about him, but he'll pull through. Usopp always does. After a moment, he says: ]

Do you really think asking is stupid?

[normally he doesn't care but this kind of thing is tricky so he wants to make sure]

[he breathes a long sigh. Yeah, sometimes he doesn't use the right words, does he?]

I know you're curious, Luffy. And at your age...I guess it's normal. Just. Not everybody is as blunt as you.

Yeah I know. That's why I asked. That way they know what I want and I know what they want. [he crosses his legs and lightly grips his ankles]

Robin says that sometimes people use that kinda stuff to hurt others and I don't wanna do that even on accident.

But it feels really good so I want to see how other people do it.

[he may not know from experience, but Zoro has been around. He's seen quarrels in bars and drinks thrown in faces, he's heard gossip muttered between drunks about who played who today. So yeah, he knows full well that Robin is right.]

I guess you've gotten some pretty good advice since the last time we talked about this.

Yeah, Robin's really smart. [but he already knew she knew everything] Old man Rayleigh is gonna teach me stuff, too. He says I have a lot to learn. I wonder what it is!

[not knowing is kind of exciting]

Dunno! haha I guess something about kissing! It's going to be really weird to do that with an old guy.

UGH! Don't let the old man anywhere near your face with that! Anything but that. He's a great guy but I remember Shakki teasing him about stuff, I don't think you need to know the shit he knows.

No way! I want to know everything. [arm fold] Old man Rayleigh knows all the important stuff so I'm gonna learn it.

[face...palm. Sliding his hand all the way down the side of his face]

Something tells me the only thing he can teach you is how to break people's hearts.

I definitely won't do that. Cuz I'm not going to trick them.

[that's what it was right? People thought you meant something but you didn't. Except it was like the kissing. If he told them what he wanted and knew what they wanted then it wouldn't be that way right?]
