[sitting on the inn roof at Empieza and he's decided himself a thing]

I wanna kiss as many people as I can. [doom!] But it's hard to figure out the rules! So if you wanna kiss someone then we should definitely meet up!

[and it's the perfect solution. Because if someone wants to kiss someone as much as he wants to kiss someone then they can just kiss and it's simple]

[He has something he wants to ask, too, but he'll wait til Zoro gets here]

[give it a few hours. And as much as Zoro wants to look in on Usopp, he knows better. He'll check in with Luffy first, which is a good thing, because he'd never find the inn if he didn't spot the straw hat sitting up on top. Shading his good eye with his hand.]

Oi! Luffy!

[he waves. He'll come down if Zoro wants but for now waits for Zoro to come up]

[he can take a hint, and makes his way upstairs to find a way onto the roof. Assuming Luffy didn't just slingshot himself up there. Nah, he gets there.]

Oi. I found Nami. She went back to the ship to check it out.

[he crawled out the window actually but Zoro makes it to the roof so it works out]

I hope she likes it. [he leans back on his hands]

We're gonna have a lot of people now.

Yeah, we are. [he sounds pretty happy about it, as he comes over and heaves himself down to a seat next to his captain] I can't believe it, Nami and Usopp both. And old man Rayleigh.

Yeah! But Usopp had a really hard time, I guess.

[he's sort of worried about him, but he'll pull through. Usopp always does. After a moment, he says: ]

Do you really think asking is stupid?

[normally he doesn't care but this kind of thing is tricky so he wants to make sure]

[he breathes a long sigh. Yeah, sometimes he doesn't use the right words, does he?]

I know you're curious, Luffy. And at your age...I guess it's normal. Just. Not everybody is as blunt as you.

Yeah I know. That's why I asked. That way they know what I want and I know what they want. [he crosses his legs and lightly grips his ankles]

Robin says that sometimes people use that kinda stuff to hurt others and I don't wanna do that even on accident.

But it feels really good so I want to see how other people do it.

[he may not know from experience, but Zoro has been around. He's seen quarrels in bars and drinks thrown in faces, he's heard gossip muttered between drunks about who played who today. So yeah, he knows full well that Robin is right.]

I guess you've gotten some pretty good advice since the last time we talked about this.

Yeah, Robin's really smart. [but he already knew she knew everything] Old man Rayleigh is gonna teach me stuff, too. He says I have a lot to learn. I wonder what it is!

[not knowing is kind of exciting]

[face...palm. Sliding his hand all the way down the side of his face]

Something tells me the only thing he can teach you is how to break people's hearts.

I definitely won't do that. Cuz I'm not going to trick them.

[that's what it was right? People thought you meant something but you didn't. Except it was like the kissing. If he told them what he wanted and knew what they wanted then it wouldn't be that way right?]

Yeah, just remember that. No matter what he says. Tricking people into things like this ain't cool.

[learning haki is one thing, but nobody's teaching Luffy how to be a womanizer on his watch. No sir.]

I already said I wasn't gonna hurt people, Zoro. [annoyed now. Stop being worried about that already!]

[sighs and relents. He trusts Luffy, but Rayleigh? No amount they owe to the old man is worth him corrupting his captain's innocence]

[sighs a bit and leans back. He kind of gets it, but...]

No matter what I learn from that guy I'm still gonna be me.

That's true... [if he forgets, it's because he's slightly more protective of his younger captain. It's hard living with foreknowledge of someone, and the things which could hurt them.] You never get carried along by the wind, you are the cyclone itself.

Maybe I can learn to do cyclone kisses and make people dizzy! shishishi

[Robin was good at that and he wanted to do something like that only he wanted to learn so they'd be dizzy for a while and would remember it]
