[Audio] ALL THE DRAMATICS! A cry for anarchy! This is war!
Pirates of the world, RISE UP I say!
This world claims we do not belong here! The people of this world say we have no home, no place on these seas, in this world! I disagree! [Oh lord, Marco's going full steam here.] My world had no use for monsters like us either! My world made it a sin and a crime for some of us to even be born. Well, to hell with that, say I! ARE WE PIRATES OR ARE WE COWARDS?!
I FOR ONE, BEAR THE FLAG OF MY FATHER AND BROTHERS! LET US TAKE OVER THESE SEAS, AND CLAIM OUR PLACE IN A WORLD ONCE AND FOR ALL! LET US SHOW THE WORLD THAT WE WILL NOT BE DENIED OR IGNORED!
Let us show the world that this era is OURS!
[AND WITH THAT: he lets out a huge phoenix cry of victory.] SCRAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
[We now return you to your daily journal entries of everything else completely different.]

That implies that I could approve more or less in the first place.

My love is so cold.
no subject
[The cold never bothered her, anyway.]

I hear that happens rather often, as of late. You haven't gotten shy, have you?
no subject
It's difficult for one, such as I, to be bold, when already overtaken by your wit and charm.
[... was that overkill? He was FINALLY able to get his swagger back, but now he's worried it's overkill. Gah.]

The sea is also bedazzling, and takes your breath away more thoroughly than I've ever tried. Is this a roundabout way of calling me fat, I wonder?

Would one use such words to describe a rare orchid? Or the tall and lithe tiger lily?

Perhaps you ought to take a picture and send me a copy. I'm curious what rare beauty you're admiring.
no subject
That would be you in this analogy, my sweet flower.
I would draw you a picture, but I'm afraid it would only make pine for the real thing will always outshine a weak imitation.
no subject
But if you don't have a picture and you aren't here in person, how then are you admiring my beauty? Have you planted a bug in my room?
no subject
And I've never been one to believe that beauty is only skin deep.
no subject
I'm flattered, really.
[Ah yes, such wit, such decisiveness. It's a wonder he finds her at all interesting.]

Flattery aside, how are you Robin? It's good to hear your voice again, though I hope that doesn't sound too forward.

[He's quiet, blushing furiously and trying to figure out a gentle rebuttal, some sort of excuse.]
[Finally he's just quiet.]
It implies a level of 'I missed you' that I'm not used to with someone outside of my crew.
no subject
I see.
[And then she chuckles softly.]
You've been having fun, I presume? I haven't heard anything from your crew about an island in awhile.
no subject
Aye, I can't for the life of me figure out why we're going so slowly. I go to check it in flying and as far as I can tell it's fine. I guess the distance was greater than the islanders told us.
Mah, it doesn't really matter though, between ocean or island, I'll take the sea.
