[Audio] ALL THE DRAMATICS! A cry for anarchy! This is war!

Pirates of the world, RISE UP I say!

This world claims we do not belong here! The people of this world say we have no home, no place on these seas, in this world! I disagree! [Oh lord, Marco's going full steam here.] My world had no use for monsters like us either! My world made it a sin and a crime for some of us to even be born. Well, to hell with that, say I! ARE WE PIRATES OR ARE WE COWARDS?!

I FOR ONE, BEAR THE FLAG OF MY FATHER AND BROTHERS! LET US TAKE OVER THESE SEAS, AND CLAIM OUR PLACE IN A WORLD ONCE AND FOR ALL! LET US SHOW THE WORLD THAT WE WILL NOT BE DENIED OR IGNORED!

Let us show the world that this era is OURS!

[AND WITH THAT: he lets out a huge phoenix cry of victory.] SCRAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

[We now return you to your daily journal entries of everything else completely different.]

[There's a little sigh, barely audible, as Robin decides to take this not very seriously at all.]

That implies that I could approve more or less in the first place.

Shall I introduce you to Elsa, then?

[The cold never bothered her, anyway.]

[alskdjflk oh right. Don't blame Robin for her mun's utter fail. She was being glib, promise.]

I hear that happens rather often, as of late. You haven't gotten shy, have you?
thetruehistorian: (little joke)

[It sounds like overkill. But. She's not going to take him seriously for a conversation.]

The sea is also bedazzling, and takes your breath away more thoroughly than I've ever tried. Is this a roundabout way of calling me fat, I wonder?

I suppose they could, if they were a spider or an ant or a blade of grass.

[Marco why did you suddenly grow balls the moment Robin decided to act ridiculous?]

Perhaps you ought to take a picture and send me a copy. I'm curious what rare beauty you're admiring.
thetruehistorian: (glance out the window)

[Yes well it's hard to be goofy when he keeps saying such serious- if over the top- things.]

But if you don't have a picture and you aren't here in person, how then are you admiring my beauty? Have you planted a bug in my room?

[He seems so untouchable right now. Part of her wants to answer in kind, to make suggestive comments and spew useless flattery. Another wants to trip him up, see if she can change his course. The former may lead to giving impressions she's not yet ready to give. The latter means jerking him around by his emotions. Robin doesn't want to do either.]

I'm flattered, really.

[Ah yes, such wit, such decisiveness. It's a wonder he finds her at all interesting.]

Why would it be too forward?

[Oh. That's. Actually kind of sweet.]

I see.

[And then she chuckles softly.]

You've been having fun, I presume? I haven't heard anything from your crew about an island in awhile.
