004 ♔ text / action for the hazmat crew

[With their last adventure being a complete success and the most tiring thing she's done in a while. The champion decided that today would be a good day to relax...and by that she meant skipping out on breakfast and hiding out in the crow's nest so the boys wouldn't find her. Being the only girl in the crew, she wasn't really as strong as the boys, so they never really questioned why she never went up there. But she was there today, and a little too mesmerized by the view of the rising sun.]

A little treasure hunting really did do me some good. Makes me miss my dear friend, Steven Stone. I know he would have LOVED my previous adventure with the boys. It had his top two all time favorite things after all: Caves and shiny rocks. Arceus, I miss home...

But I did accomplish a few other things while we were in Aeolipile. I got my kitty, Ning-ning, a diamond encrusted bell (as if he needed to be any noisier, but I DID say I'd get him one.) I wonder if he found it yet? I managed to attach it to his belt while he was passed out. I hope he noticed it. I also have a present for my dear little Donatello. It's something I KNOW he's going to love, but I'm pretty sure I should give it to him personally.

Also, I did the impossible and Arceus I'm so proud of myself for doing it.

To anyone out there who knows who Gaius is, no I didn't kill him, but I did manage to get him to agree to stop eating sweets for a bit. How? By bribing him with the idea of candy mountain of course! I managed to find a map and some books to the place and I told him I'll suggest we head there next if he gave up sweets till we arrived. Yes, I know blackmail isn't mature, but it was for his own good.

And for the record, I love my boys. I really really do.

It takes thirty days to kick a habit, and if not, it's still enough time to flush out the sugar from his system enough so candy mountain won't kill him. How can you people not see that I'm trying to help him?

Hey I'm not saying that you're not, it's just... well if it's anything like when Mikey goes through pizza withdraw, it's not something pleasant to deal with.

I never said this was going to be easy. My pokemon are on twenty four hour guard duty so Gaius can't get to the candy stash, and not to mention those three lollipops that he still refuses to hand over.

Honestly, I don't have to do all this. I could just trust him to keep his word and be done with it.

If you did that... I don't know if I would trust him to not get anything sugar related.

Also, by any chance, would you know why Ning-ning's looking for me? He's been yelling "woman" for I'm not sure how long now and it's starting to bug me.

Hmm... no clue. Maybe he finds diamonds too girly for him?

So he's out screaming for me because I gave him something girly? Yeah that makes a whole lot of sense.

[Shrugs] I'm just throwing out scenarios. I honestly have no idea, but he'll probably get over it.

Just don't tell him I'm in the crow's nest. Also where are you? Have you had breakfast yet?

Don't worry, my lips are sealed. I'm in the bunk, I was about to go to the galley .to fetch something before I rounded up the guys for morning training

Morning training? After all that work they did in the gem caverns? Let them sleep in today, Leo.

Hey I can't let them off just because of that. Besides I've been letting them off for the most while we were in Aelopile, so it's time to get them back on track.

[Mainly because the hangover made him feel too out of it to do it.]

We'll be stuck on this boat for a month. That's plenty of time for you and your brothers to train. Have mercy on them Leo, it's our first day out at sea...again.

I can't. I'm in charge of training them since Master Splinter isn't here. I might cut the training short today, but I still need to have them do something.

Mikey has a pet chick to feed ~~thanks to me~~, Donnie's got experiments to do in the lab and Raph...well he can do his aerial tricks again or something.

Come on sunshine, come to the crow's nest. Let's hang out and throw paper balls at people or something.

[He groans, but he supposed that the guys did work pretty hard.]

Fine, I'll let them off this once. But tomorrow they're getting trained whether they like it or not. Just because they have other things to do doesn't meant hat I can let them off there hook forever, sensei surely doesn't.

I'm heading for the crow's nest now then.

Tell them that, not me. They're the ones getting early morning training after all.

Oh! And leave the swords.

[Sighs] Fine... I'll be up there in a few minutes.

[He closed the journal and stripped off his swords, leaving them in his hammock. Minutes later, he made his way up to the crow's nest and spotted Cynthia.]

Well good morning sunshine, you look as pretty as a pecha berry today.

[He climbs into the crow's nest and settles into a comfortable position.]

So what have been doing?

Nothing worth mentioning really. Writing in my journal, watching the horizon. I'm pretty sure that's all you can do up here. But I guess getting up here was pretty fun.

Heh, sounds like it. But hey, just watching the horizon can be nice. [Looks outward] At least it looks like it's going to be a nice day today.

From what I was told, the north's going to be a little chilly. But other than that, I think I'll just spend my day up here. I'm sure no one would need me today anyway...well except Gan Ning.

Well you never know, anything could pop up and we might need your help. I'm not gonna much to do today though now that training is off, the only thing I may need to do sis top Raph from killing Mikey... again.

[Because brothers did that.]

Your brothers are an odd bunch. Lovable, but a really odd bunch. I'm surprised you could keep up with them.
