004 ♔ text / action for the hazmat crew

[With their last adventure being a complete success and the most tiring thing she's done in a while. The champion decided that today would be a good day to relax...and by that she meant skipping out on breakfast and hiding out in the crow's nest so the boys wouldn't find her. Being the only girl in the crew, she wasn't really as strong as the boys, so they never really questioned why she never went up there. But she was there today, and a little too mesmerized by the view of the rising sun.]

A little treasure hunting really did do me some good. Makes me miss my dear friend, Steven Stone. I know he would have LOVED my previous adventure with the boys. It had his top two all time favorite things after all: Caves and shiny rocks. Arceus, I miss home...

But I did accomplish a few other things while we were in Aeolipile. I got my kitty, Ning-ning, a diamond encrusted bell (as if he needed to be any noisier, but I DID say I'd get him one.) I wonder if he found it yet? I managed to attach it to his belt while he was passed out. I hope he noticed it. I also have a present for my dear little Donatello. It's something I KNOW he's going to love, but I'm pretty sure I should give it to him personally.

Also, I did the impossible and Arceus I'm so proud of myself for doing it.

To anyone out there who knows who Gaius is, no I didn't kill him, but I did manage to get him to agree to stop eating sweets for a bit. How? By bribing him with the idea of candy mountain of course! I managed to find a map and some books to the place and I told him I'll suggest we head there next if he gave up sweets till we arrived. Yes, I know blackmail isn't mature, but it was for his own good.

And for the record, I love my boys. I really really do.

[oh, he found the bell all right. And promptly stashed it somewhere because that many jewels have to be valuable.

[She immediately sinks into the crow's nest. Ok so she could think of a lot of reasons why Gan Ning would be mad at her. Off the top of her head, she JUST called him Ning-ning on the journal network. So she'll just sit there silently till her gives up and hopefully goes away?]

[well, there's a lot of ship to search first. But sooner or later he'll rule all the other hiding places out and be left with just the one...

...meantime, he yells a lot while he looks. She's gotta be around here somewhere!]

[Wow, talk about dedication. She half expected him to give up ages ago. But judging by the yelling, he must REALLY be offended by that Ning-ning comment.]

[She frowns. They've known each other for nearly a month now. If anything, he could at least yell her name instead of "woman". No wonder she's not responding huh?]

It takes thirty days to kick a habit, and if not, it's still enough time to flush out the sugar from his system enough so candy mountain won't kill him. How can you people not see that I'm trying to help him?

I never said this was going to be easy. My pokemon are on twenty four hour guard duty so Gaius can't get to the candy stash, and not to mention those three lollipops that he still refuses to hand over.

Honestly, I don't have to do all this. I could just trust him to keep his word and be done with it.

Also, by any chance, would you know why Ning-ning's looking for me? He's been yelling "woman" for I'm not sure how long now and it's starting to bug me.

It's not like I'm permanently taking it away from him. I just thought it would be a good idea to flush the sugar out of his system so he'd be healthy enough to eat his way through candy mountain.

I guess that is a weird kind of logic. To be honest, I've always wondered how he's lived this long.

Well think about it this way. When a trash can is filled up to capacity, do you keep throwing trash into it or do you empty it out before using it again? I'm just trying to keep my friend alive. Though...I assume you know him better than me?

... I'm not sure exactly where to start, but... The world he and I are from? It's going to hell in a handbasket. I time-traveled with the other guys in the army to try and prevent a huge disaster from happening.

... The Fell Dragon, Grima. Once it wakes up, it'll start destroyin' the world. Risen... those are monsters that looked like humans... They go after every man, woman, and kid.

[He sighs. This is... not a fun thing to remember, no sir.]

... For my world, it's... kinda too late. But I have to chance to save theirs.

Ok so let me get this straight. You're from Gaius' world, but from the future. A future which is being ravaged by "Risen" and a "Fell Dragon", which was somehow woken up.

Now to save your future, you and your army travelled to a time in the past where this "Fell Dragon" hasn't been woken up yet. I assume so you could find a way to stop it from happening? So...where does Gaius fall into all this? Did you know him in your future?
