[text & action for Spade Pirates!]

*Selphie hasn't used this yet, and her writing is...rather girly, and that of someone who really isn't used to handwriting anything. But still, she's writing, and she's proud enough of herself for that fact. It's night, and rather dark outside, so Selphie has at least thought that it might not be nice to wake anyone with her voice*

On the sea...at night. It's so beautiful outside I can barely believe it! If you're awake right now, take yourself out on deck and have a good look at the view - it's magical, I promise!~

*For those in Selphie's crew, you might find the young woman huddled beneath a blanket at some corner of the deck. Try not to step on her*

*Then don't mind her if she stares for a second or two, okay? But just a very quick second or two! Selphie shuffled beneath her blanket, finally managing to pull herself into standing. It wasn't easy, though, and she groaned slightly at the cramp in her legs*

Guess there's some real wise lady on this ship... People should take her advice more often.

*Hobbling slightly, Selphie moves to join him at the edge, one hand pulling the blanket tight over her shoulders*

[It's cool. He doesn't really notice the staring, and if he does he doesn't make any comment or care to it.]

[The groan and limp however had his brow raised.] And perhaps that wise lady should take a seat again. [he gave a nod to her leg, a questioning brow raise] What did you hurt?

*Either way, that's very good of him. Eventually, Selphie gets a little more used to a half naked man body*

*Looking down at her leg now too, Selphie smiles and gives a shrug*

Nah, nothing really. Got a lotta bruises from falling out the hammock, but mostly just cramp. Guess I was sitting there quite a while.

[He's pretty good, once in a while.]

[When she explained the leg cramp, he gave a nod. You never know. She could have hurt herself leaving the island, or perhaps on the boat some how. There's a ton of children on this ship. Kids are all... you know, breakable and shit.]

Must have gotten caught up in the view. [but he added, with a small smirk as he leaned into the railing, arms crossed over his chest now] Be careful with them hammocks thought. They'll show no mercy.

*So long as she doesn't hear you calling her a child - then you'll be in for some aggro. Well, maybe just a little bit*

Uh huh! But it's beautiful, right?

*Selphie moves up onto her tiptoes so that she can get a better look over the edge of the boat*

Urgh - those hammocks. Seriously, I'm thinking of sleeping on the floor...

[He wasn't much for tossing the word Beautiful around, when he used it he meant it. By ending up here he had left someone beautiful behind. He'd killed someone beautiful years before it, and that person was weighing heavy in his mind as well.]

[About this landscape though, he simply gave a nod. Yeah, it's beautiful. -- As the girl leaned over he gave her a side long glance before looking out at the water and night.]

You know, you can have the hammock lowered. It'd just take moving the hooks into a new place. Put you lower to the ground. At least until you can find something better after a port or two.

*Really, if she thought about, Selphie wasn't either. Cute, sure. Pretty, and all sorts of other adjectives, yes. But beautiful? Nope. She lifts herself enough that her feet don't touch the deck anymore, then lowers herself, turning back to him with an excited smile*

Seriously? Can I do that? That would be so amazing! At least if I fall, my bruises won't be so bad!

*In case he needs proof, Selphie sticks a leg out in front of her, the side of her knee and thigh purple and green*

[He was pretty sure she wasn't dumb enough to tip over into the water, but he figured he was fast enough to grab her if she was dumb enough to do as much.]

Don't see why not. [he said, looking down at her leg as she showed him. His brow raised then he nodded his head. Yep. A klutz.] Come morning, when it wont bother anyone, we can fix it up so you don't hurt yourself.

*No, she wasn't dumb enough. If she'd lifted herself any higher then she might have been in danger of being clumsy enough to tip herself in. Selphie glances down at her leg then wraps herself up with her blanket again*

That'd be really great! I'd appreciate it so much! Bruises aren't attractive, ya know?

[At least she's also smart enough to stay warm out here.]

Eh, some people like em. [Bruises that is. Though he didn't actually comment on that. He knows better, when dealing with the ladies...] Just be careful on board.

Some people like bruises? *Selphie raises a brow at that, not quite believing. Then she peeks down at her leg again*

I try to be careful, honest. It just doesn't always work...

[He gave a small snort at her question, trying not to smirk, though there was a small pull at his lips] Some people find it attractive, as you put it. [a shrug]

Just don't dive over the side of the boat. Not sure how many of you kids can swim.

They do? Really? *This... is something entirely unheard of by Selphie. She sticks her leg up again, lifting it until the moonlight properly catches the bruising* Huh. What do you think?

*She grins at Logan and shakes her head - now he's just being silly* I can swim, but I still wouldn't jump over. You can swim though, right?

[okay, he might be smiling, just a bit more. He shook her head at her showing her leg off again. If it was one of the others that he DID know, back home, from the school or something, he might have reached out to poke down into a bruise, to mess with the kid. But.. he was being good.]

I think they'd look better if you got them in a fight, not from a hammock. [a bit of a tease, maybe.]

Mmm, yeah. I can swim. [he learned there are a few idiots out there who can't though, and that boggled him...]

Well... I don't usually bruise from fights. Just from everyday life.

*She puts her leg back down and shrugs a little. A thought as come to her, but she's not entirely sure how to put it*

Uhm...Isn't that like...kinda perverted? I mean, the colours of bruises can be nice at first, I guess. But - isn't that like saying that guys like girls who've been beaten up? That's pretty sick.

*The concept is a whole new world to her. Selphie smiles at him and nods*

Good! But hopefully no one's gonna fall over board any time soon!

[well, that was a little odd, wasn't it? he gave her a raised brow look, then snorted. HE himself didn't really bruise at all (though he had a dark bruise lingering on his arm at his shoulder, that he didn't even realize was there. He hadn't realized his healing was slowed yet)]

[he did however SNORT at her comment about it being perverted. He rolled his eyes at that.] That isn't how it was meant to be taken, kid. And it doesn't mean they've been beaten up. Just means they've seen some action. And if all they got is a damn bruise? Then they came out of that fight on top.

[he shrugged again and finished his comment on bruises with:] Just an observation. Don't read much into it.

So like... if I came out a fight all bleeding and with broken rips and stuff, then that's not cool? But if I went in fighting and came back with just a little bruise, then that's hot?

*Selphie thinks about this very, very carefully for a moment*

But...what if I was so awesome that I came out of a fight without even a scratch? Should I bruise myself anyway just to prove it? Is this the same reason why scars are cool?

*So many questions... Logan, you have her thinking too hard about non-essential life stuff. But yeah, that's what Selphie does*

[Logan snorted, again, in mild amusement at the girls movements and comments. What even was this conversation?]

I think you're over thinking this, squirt. Forget I said anything.

Oh! Right. Sorry. I just thought...

*Actually, she's not really sure, so she just shrugs a little and pulla her blanket around her*

I'll just remember that you're the go to guy for romance problems, right?

[he shook his head at that. Great, please don't think of him as a perv.]

Right. That would be me. The guy with all the answers. [he snorted. His romance issues were the worst in the WORLD. Not to mention Jean still bugging around in his head.]

I'm the last person you want to come to for that. Trust me.

*Selphie giggles at that and nods her head, like she knew it all along*

Uh huh. I'll remember that you're the answer man.

But I wouldn't worry, cause I won't be needing your romantic hints and tips. Not while we're at sea anyway!

[he snorted, shaking his head and watched the dark waters again.]

the sea is better made for adventure. [he agreed, as if that was what she was saying. There was no place for love on the Sea]

*Selphie smiles at him, and shuffles to lean closer to the edge of the boat, tipping her head to look up at the sky*

Mmhmm. Adventure, and getting bruises along the way, right?
