Dear...bugger it, not in the mood—

Potter seems to have pissed off back to our world, which is just typical. Always has to have things just handed to him because he's the bloody Boy Who Lived. I bet Dumbledore gave him the House Cup the second he walked into the Great Hall, too, just because he finally bothered to show up for classes halfway through the year. Probably gift-wrapped it, at that.

1000 points to the arseholes of Gryffindor because Potter's not stuck in some stupid bleeding pirate world anymore.

P.S. Help, my ship has been taken over by ninjas and one of them is wearing the most ghastly and horrid shade of orange and another has pink hair that I think actually might not be dyed or charmed. Why do I have to still be stuck with these nutters when Potter isn't????

[Well, Naruto is eternally skeptical. The only magic he knows about is little parlor tricks. Everything else can just be explained by powerful jutsu.

[In fact, he's already closing his journal and HOPPING DOWN THE STAIRS to the galley.]

[Shows up not long after him, and after making a brief show of cringing at all that orange he finally deigns to greet him. Sort of.]

Are you sure you don't want me to change the color of...that...for you?

[Either Naruto doesn't notice Draco's cringing or he notices and just fucking ignores it because he's used to it. Either way, he just waves him off and points to a chair.]

Just turn it into fruit, y'know.

[Slight eye roll and he pulls his wand out.]

Alright, alright. Watch.

[He points his wand at the chair, mutters a spell under his breath, and with a simple wand motion -- voilà! Abruptly the chair transforms into an orange, which drops to the floor and rolls toward Draco's feet. He flicks his wand again, summoning the orange to his hand, and then grins at Naruto.]

See?

[Naruto's eyes go wide as all this happens. As far as he can tell, it's not a genjutsu. It's not an illusion. The chair really is a freaking orange now.

At this, he shoots his hands into the air .]

HOLY CRAAAAAAAAP! THAT'S AWESOME!

[Now he's grabbing Draco by the collar and shaking him, obviously very excited.]

CAN YOU CHANGE THINGS INTO RAMEN?

[alkjfdhs has his brain rattling around inside his head now, IT'S OKAY, NO BIG DEAL.

Insta-scowl going on over here, though, and he promptly drops the orange and reaches up to shove Naruto off.]

For Merlin's sake, man! Get off! The bloody hell is wrong with you -- and no, what? What's ramen?

[The impressed look and demeanor he had at the magic quickly fades and he steps back and looks shocked.]

Why doesn't anybody know what ramen is here? What the hell have you people been eating all your lives?

Proper food. [Then he rolls his eyes.] Just tell me what it is, maybe the name itself is all that's unfamiliar to me.

It's ramen and it's amazing. You'd know if you'd try it! C'mon, can you do it or not? What about if I just ask for ingredients?

[Idly scratches his chin with his wand.]

Though I can't jut produce food out of thin air, that's one of the five Principal Exceptions to Gamp’s Law of Elemental Transfiguration. I'll need more things to transform.

[Points his wand at the orange, changing it back into a chair.]

[There's just a blank look as Draco mouths off a bunch of random words or some shit. At least that's how it sounds to Naruto since any of those would be weird all on their own and are practically unintelligible when strung together.]

Whatever. Let me write down some ingredients.

[And he just ignores everything else to whip out his journal and start jotting down different ingredients from memory for ramen, including noodles and some other stuff for the broth, also some roasted pork.]
