[Either she meant to write this in one of her other notebooks or she really did think this was worth sharing with everyone. It's hard to tell.]

I would have guessed a lot younger.... [He commented offhandedly] So this Rei and Haruka are the crew members that warranted this ..... crisis? [The use of that word seemed laughable now]

Rei and Makoto! Makoto says he's okay, but I dunno about Rei. We're a really small crew, so it's important that we look out for each other.

Whatever. [He had no reason to remember their names, and he probably wouldn't go on using them after this discussion anyway.] I can't argue with you there. [With only one more crew member than her own, his crew was fairly small too]

Are you all about the same age range? [It was a little disconcerting how many brats.. er..kids were being sent off on their own. Sure when Ban was that age it wouldn't have been such a problem but this girl didn't sound like she had any or much experience dealing with the darker side of life]

Yup! Rei's just a year younger than the rest of us! All the boys went to the same school back where they came from. They were in the same club, too!

[She doesn't say anything about her own friends because, well, none of them are here.]

[And one of the boys was going by the name of kitty. Nothing about this arrangement sounded like a good idea]

The swim club? [Going out on a limb here, since she said they wouldn't need to worry if someone went overboard. A shame it wasn't a yacht club so a few of them would have some sailing experience.]

Look- I hope you all realize this isn't some sort of game. There are real dangers out on the open ocean and it isn't the sort of things a few kids are usually able to handle. Have any of you even traveled on the ocean before?

Nope! But the boys can swim if the boat sinks and I'll figure something out! And if there's something dangerous, I'll take care of it!

Tch- they may be strong swimmers but even strong swimmers can fall prey to rapid currents and whirlpools. [This just didn't sound planned out enough..]

[He took on an incredulous tone]

I'm a superhero! Hmm, you know, I don't think I've told Cap'n Makoto about that one.

[He shook his head and trailed off. Let's humor the crazy kid....]

Oh yeah, so what kind of super powers do you have?

Well, let's see...my G-suit makes me super strong and fast and I can jump really high. I've never tried sticking to the wall like a ninja like Senpai does, but maybe I can! And I have my Blanc et Noir and my Petit Ciseaux to fight with, those are my big scissors and my little scissors. And I can shoot my Balles Pastels as a distraction! POOF!

So if anyone had one of these "G-suits" could they possess the same powers that you do? With the.... scissors and everything? [Scissors were so threatening. It was kinda cute but kinda disturbing how delusion a 16 year old could be.]

Nope! Our Notes are like our souls, so they all work differently! Senpai is all serious with his sword like a samurai, so he can do all this fancy ninja-y samurai-ish stuff! I'm good at design and art and stuff, so I get scissors and pastels!

When did you find out you could use these. Notes? It must have been quite a surprise when you did.

IT WAS! JJ just appeared POOF! out of nowhere and it was like he wanted to play hide and seek, but then it was all WHOOSH! and he pulled my Note out of my chest (which felt totally weird!) And then I found out that it meant I got to be a Gatchaman and keep the world safe from aliens! Except I'd really rather not fight them. It's better to make friends with them!

[What in the holy hell was she talking about? In her enthusiasm she was steam rolling over the various details and not explaining a bit of it.]
