He's in his tub! I think he's gonna live in there.

He lives in a tub? Is he actually a merman? [if that's the case then] He can probably find some bubble coral around here. [since that's what Keimi uses]

Nope! He's a human! He just reeeeaaaaally likes the water! Cap'n Makoto is always afraid he's gonna jump off the boat and we won't be able to find him.

Haha He sounds really funny. I want to meet him. But, hey, if he wants to jump in the water, why not just tie a rope around him?

Yeah but if he's always in the bathtub, isn't he easy to catch?

Hmm. Well why not just let him do it then?

Because the ocean's really big! What if he gets lost and can't find the boat?

Yeah, that's why you have a rope. Whenever he goes out he can take a rope with him. [nod] Or you can build an aquarium and he can swim in that.

That's what his tub is for! Because he won't put the rope on himself. He's very impatient. I guess we could leave it on him all the time...but we'd need a lot of rope.

Okay. [it doesn't seem like it's going to work very long but if that's what you guys wanna do] What's gonna happen when someone else wants a bath?

[since he knows that kind of thing is important to some people]

I never thought about that! Ha ha, that's gonna be funny! We're gonna have to make a schedule!

Or you can just have a big bath party! [those are always fun.]

That sounds like fun! But the boys will probably be all "NO WE CAN'T!"

Ehh? Why not? Do it anyway! [though that's his answer to pretty much everything]

'cause I'm a girl. I know Senpai back home would be all "NO HAJIME GET OUT!" Boys are like that.

Oh yeah. [that's a pain... He guesses it has to be like that but it's still kind of annoying] Girls are like that, too, though.

Yeah, I guess so. Should I be all "NO EVERYBODY GET OUT"? It seems silly.

Mm I dunno. Just do what you want. [best answer always] Maybe one day you can find another girl for your crew and have a bath party with her?

That could be fun!! I've never been the only girl around before, so I don't know what to expect! Well, I'm the only girl in our apartment back home, but Utsutsu lives on the same floor and she visits a lot, so that doesn't really count.
