✚ First Report; Pirates, Davy Jones, a search for gems? (Written/Action)
I would call this a dream if I ever even considered the thought of being a pirate, but let's be honest, Ninja's are cooler.
Now don't go slitting my throat, I'm just joking. But all of this does feel like I found myself on the set to some weird TV show. Except it’s far too expansive and as far as I can see there's no camera's around. So this leaves me with the conclusion that this may be some mental disorder caused by lack of sleep and the crazy shit that has become my life...or I've been transported from Japan back to the past and landed on what I'll assume to be a Caribbean island, and one where all the locals can speak Japanese.
...Personally I'm leaning towards delusion myself.
But in the case this is in fact reality, I suppose I better get on with it and find some work.
So who of you is in need of medical attention?
First 20 to step up can pay in Cigarettes.
Cause I could really use one about now, and ten more after that.

[Response to Written] -> [Action]
Oh, he just spied the writer of it!
By the time it's finished being written, Sora is approaching Toshio.]
Is this one by you?
[He holds his journal up, pointing to the entry.]
[Action]
[He leans back in his chair and puts the..."Pen" down before turning to the brat.]
Yeah.
[he tilts his head giving him a curious glance.]
There has to be some kind of magic involved with these journals. Anyway, What's up...?
[Had he learned this kid's name yet? Not sure he did.]
[Perma-Action~]
Alas, he's more used to juggling everything else while Jiminy took care of that part.]
Yeah, I figure that's what it is. There's really no other explanation I can think of! [Small laugh.] I just wanted to introduce myself, though. I'm Sora! What's your name?
[That icon is beyond cute]
[Oh well, that's something to think about later. He pushes himself away from the desk with his foot and turns to face Sora, reaching a hand out to him.]
My names Ozaki Toshio, call me Toshio. [Smiles] Good to meet you, Sora.
[Right? I love it]
Nice to meet ya, Toshio. [He takes the hand to shake it.]
[Makes me want to pinch his cheeks (all of em)]
Makes me wish I knew about it.
[For a moment he just looks at Sora, his eyes straying to his hair. Although he had the same gravity defying traits, he hadn't really figured that someone else would have it too.]
Hey, you got a surname?
[hehe <3]
[AND THEN YOU GO AND CHANGE IT]
SORRY I NEEDED TO GO THROUGH MY ICONS.
/CRIES/.
I saw everything.
No you didn't.
Yep. Totally did. :|
Shut up Chas
Make me Buntatoes
[Voice] Just because he can.
Medical attention? I don't think anyone in our crew needs that right now, however I'd say there's a position for someone capable of it on our ship.
[Okay, FINE, We'll do Voice then]
Look, if you're going to haunt anyone, haunt Seishin and his run away vampire bride.
...And what ship is this?
[Mwahahaha]
Do I even want to know about this vampire bride, Ozaki-sensei?
[A little snort.]
We actually have two ships, the Sun and the Moon. It's a large crew full of people who hurt themselves. You'd be busy.
[SUCH A BRAT, GOD]
Was that a laugh I heard? Are you really Natsuno?
I honestly can't tell you more than that, so let's say no, you don't.
Sounds fun, this okay with your....
[He can't believe he's about to say this....]
Captain?
[RIGHT BACK AT YOU GOOD DOCTOR]
That was not a laugh. Give me a moment to find him and check.
[He can multitask though.]
So uh, how are things?

Voice;
This is Ace, the Spades' Captain.
Voice
So, the question is whether I call you Ace or Captain…
[He pauses, and then gets straight to it.]
What would you like to know?
Voice
So. I just wanna know a few things. They're not really big questions.
You ready?
Voice~
[Well he's not sure how long this is going to be, so he figures might as well get comfortable. With a quick motion he moves, leaning back against the chair and putting his feet up on the desk.]
Now I am.
Hit me.
Voice;
Each one was dressed to the nines in old mobster suits.]
Do you know how to sail? Have you ever fought before? Can you swim? What's the worst injury you've ever fixed?
Voice;
[He thinks about each of the questions asked before he begins to answer in order.]
I kept mostly to the middle of Japan, so no; I don't know how to sail. But that's never stopped me before, just got to learn. [He's a fast learner, and has already been asking the people around about it.]
When does the fight ever stop? But yeah, I've fought before. [That’s an understatement, but that’s not something he wants to discus.] What I lack in strength I tend to make up for in cleverness.
If you didn't know how to swim you were doomed to die of boredom and heat exhaustion.
[okay he has to take a longer moment on this one.]
...Hm, I once had to help this guy who got his arm stuck in a meat grinder but I wouldn't say that was the worst...
[He scratches the back of his head.]
… I’ve seen and dealt with some serious cases, cases where the person on the table was so distorted they hardly even looked like a human. But I can’t take credit for their survival, I helped, but in the end it depends on just how badly they want it. Without that desire there isn’t much we can do.
That’s what it means to be a doctor; we’re there to give our patients a fighting chance. And whether I’m on your ship or not, I’m going to continue doing that.

Yep. All my life.

And New York is called the Concrete jungle.
...
This may sound weird, but are you speaking Japanese?
[voice]
...Uh, no. English. Why? I know some Japanese, though.
[voice]
Guess it saves me having to spend money on a plane ticket.
Because I'm not speaking English, so it would appear something in this land is automatically translating what we're saying. Or another possibility is that it’s a function of the journal, so if we met face to face there is a chance we wouldn’t be able to communicate.
