[Okay, so this whole. Getting kidnapped thing is not entirely new to Estelle. What is new it getting kidnapped to a whole new world. She of course knows of travel and loves the ocean and stars, but somehow all of this...she never thought there might be worlds like this out there besides those in the books she read. She's curious, examining the fountain and its words thoughtfully before flipping through the journal, and unfortunately with how she gets when reading, this may mean she might end up bumping into somebody as she wanders only half paying attention to her surroundings as she investigates the book.]

It seems like there are a lot of people who were brought here too. To find these shards....? I guess there are others who just recently arrived too. I'm Estelle! I'm not sure if my friends might be among them, but if they are, I'd like to join a crew with them together! If anyone has seen or heard from Yuri, Flynn, Judith, Rita, Raven or Karol, please let me know. I'm sure if they are here they are also worrying about me and things back home too.

I'm not sure how much a ship might be, but if that really is the best way, the way to possibly get home and find these shards, then we don't have much other choice, do we? This is almost kind of exciting as much as it is....a little scary. There are so many new people to meet, so much new land to explore! And I never knew there were books like this!

Oh! And um, if my friends aren't here, I could join a different crew. I can heal, so that might help, especially out on the ocean traveling!

[The recording stops when she accidentally bumps into someone and drops her book. Oops.]

How does this book even work?

R-Rita? Is that you? Thank goodness! We're not alone here at least. You're not hurt or anything, are you? I'm still around by the fountain if you want to find me. I was just looking for anyone of us from home.

And the book seems pretty easy? You just kind of talk into it. Or write in it! Isn't it amazing? I never knew there were books like this!

I can try and help you with the journal. Just meet me by the fountain, where the writing is.

[And when Rita gets there, Estelle will be seated near the fountain, studying the words again as she copies them out. She evidently intends to record nearly everything in this strange new world, not knowing what may be significant or not. But the message does seem to be a big deal.

When she sees Rita, she stands, clutching her journal in her arms before she approaches.]

Rita! I'm glad I've found you at least. You haven't seen Yuri or any of the others, have you?

Nope, not yet. Seems like Judith's here too, though.

Ah, I suppose it is that time, is it not...

There are indeed many people who have been brought here. Some of us have been here for a good while.

Here is to hoping some of your friends may be present, however! All of this is quite scary, [with good reason, Alice notes mentally] but... it is far easier with friends.

'That time'? Is it usually a specific time where people are pulled here? How long have you been here for? When did all of this start, exactly?

I hope they are. I guess I'll check this journal, if I can't find them around the fountain area I arrived at. How is it scary?

There actually is. Generally, after the first week of the new month is when people start arriving. This will be the fourth month I have been here, and... I suppose it started two months prior to my own arrival.

As for how scary... [She hesitates, her cordial tone wavering a bit.] There are many dangers in this world. I do not know what you may have faced in your own time and place, but do not underestimate that which this world can inflict on you, Miss.

Oh. So this is a pretty regular occurrence then? I guess I should make a not of that then. In case any of my friends might later arrive as well...

Dangers? Well, if you mean monsters, we are used to fighting. So I don't think that would be a problem.

I do hope you are able to at least have some of your friends here. I find that sometimes that is the case.

[She knew when she first arrived, her two best friends were already here before her.]

But I should introduce myself so that I hope in the future we can be friends too. I'm Kairi.

I guess my only option is to hope they see or hear this. Or I find them near the fountain in person.

Kairi? That's a nice name. I'd never heard of one like that before. I'm Estellise, but Yuri and the others just call me 'Estelle'. I guess it is a little easier.

Thank you. You have a very pretty name yourself, Estellise. But I do think Estelle is easier to say.

It is. I know some people might have trouble with the names from so many different places? So if I can help by making mine a bit easier and shorter, I don't mind. Were any of your friends from home here with you, Kairi? You're not alone, are you?

[Bump! Someone clips Codi in the back when she stops to put up one of her many posters.]

--Oh?

[The ginger would look over her shoulder, but there is a small, gray-feathered dinosaur in the way, clambering over her arm so she can keep her balance. Her brown-feathered sister gets a better look from the ground as she weaves between Estelle's legs and sniffs at her feet. For the moment, Codi assumes she's been intercepted by a careless local.]

Be careful, yeah?

Ah! Sorry!

[Estelle steps back instinctively, giving an embarrassed smile and laugh as she kneels down to help gather anything dropped, namely her journal. And then noticing the dinosaur with rather rapt fascination and curiosity.]

Hello there. I've never seen anything quite like this before.

[Rusty the raptor, now at Estelle's level, takes the opportunity to sniff at her hands and journal. She is apparently just as curious as the newcomer is.]

[Codi's interest is picked up at around the same time. The locals are occasionally startled by the tiny dinosaurs, but they never seem daring enough to stick around, let alone comment on their presence. As she turns around to investigate who this unusual individual is, Codi sees the journal and instantly realizes her mistake.]

--Well! I would imagine not. [She flashes a toothy grin and offers a hand.] You're new?

[astion]

[Estelle can't help but giggle almost at the sniffing, allowing it and extending her hand to him to smell. She's used to the idea of sniffing to get to know someone, though she has never made much progress in this with Repede, Yuri's dog.]

I am, yes. I just woke up here. We didn't have monsters or anything quite like this one though. I imagine there are a lot of new things for me to see and do in a new world like this though. It's kind of exciting!

It's nice to meet you, Estelle-san. I'm Aida Mana, captain of the Shepherd. If you need anything, I'd be happy to help. I'll definitely keep an eye out for your friends!

Aida? Okay! Aida then. Shepherd is the name of your ship? That's a nice name for one. Like the shepherds leading their flock. I like it! You would help? Thank you so much!

A-ah... actually, my given name is Mana. Aida is my family name, and in Japan we list it first... though where I come from, it's more respectful to refer to them that way until you become really good friends...

... but the way I see it, I'd like to be good friends from right off the bat! Please, call me Mana!

O-oh! I didn't realize that. I'm sorry. Mana then. Though I've never heard of that before. This is is Japan? What is it like there?

[Because Estelle is nothing if not curious and excited to hear about all these different worlds and make new friends!]

[ excited about new experiences? you are the singing the song of her people, estelle. ] Hi there! Fellow kidnap victim here- wow okay, I sound way too cheerful about that. Um, yeah let's start over. I'm Anna! It's lovely to meet you, Estelle. Sort of. [ pause ] Hear you?

[ Estelle can't help but give a light laugh at Anna's enthusiasm, but she does understand. This is rather an amazing and....interesting opportunity in spite of the whole kidnapping circumstances.]

It's wonderful to meet you too, Anna. It is pretty amazing, isn't it? We can see and learn and do so much here that we might not be able to back home!

[ back home there's a pause as anna bites her lip, remembering the state she left arendelle in. it feels a little like betrayal, like irresponsibility. she's supposed to be looking for elsa to find a way to restore the summer but she's here instead. still, she's not one to let her spirits be dampened for long. she's here now and if that legend about the jewel is true then that could be the answer to everything ] You're right! It seems like we're all from different places. All the things we know and remember from where we're from... it's like we've brought pieces of our own homes here too! There's so much to discover here, not just on these islands but from each other!

[ but what did she bring of her own home to this place? what can she offer of herself? ]

Exactly! Back home we would have never gotten such an amazing opportunity like this! I want to make the most of it. Even if I know we still have things to finish back home too.

[Estelle likely feels the same way, questioning what knowledge or skills she might be able to bring in from home to share. But she does want to do her best, to help where she can.]
