[Okay, so this whole. Getting kidnapped thing is not entirely new to Estelle. What is new it getting kidnapped to a whole new world. She of course knows of travel and loves the ocean and stars, but somehow all of this...she never thought there might be worlds like this out there besides those in the books she read. She's curious, examining the fountain and its words thoughtfully before flipping through the journal, and unfortunately with how she gets when reading, this may mean she might end up bumping into somebody as she wanders only half paying attention to her surroundings as she investigates the book.]

It seems like there are a lot of people who were brought here too. To find these shards....? I guess there are others who just recently arrived too. I'm Estelle! I'm not sure if my friends might be among them, but if they are, I'd like to join a crew with them together! If anyone has seen or heard from Yuri, Flynn, Judith, Rita, Raven or Karol, please let me know. I'm sure if they are here they are also worrying about me and things back home too.

I'm not sure how much a ship might be, but if that really is the best way, the way to possibly get home and find these shards, then we don't have much other choice, do we? This is almost kind of exciting as much as it is....a little scary. There are so many new people to meet, so much new land to explore! And I never knew there were books like this!

Oh! And um, if my friends aren't here, I could join a different crew. I can heal, so that might help, especially out on the ocean traveling!

[The recording stops when she accidentally bumps into someone and drops her book. Oops.]

I hope for good luck on that! If there is anything that can be done to help locate them, please feel free to ask.

That said... There are curses which crop up from time to time. One simply brought a feeling of intense cold to inhabitants here, while another... [Ah, that uneasy sound is much harder to hide now.] It transformed people into ... very unusual beings. [A polite way of saying vampires, werewolves, and zombies.]

Then, there was a witch... A powerful witch who could twist the hearts and minds of those of us on these seas. She... caused a lot of suffering just weeks ago, though she is no longer an issue...

Asking about really seems to be the most we can do. See if townspeople have seen anyone that meets their descriptions, and so forth. I wish there were more, but given our communications lie only in written word and audio, that can make certain things... difficult.

[She purses her lips on her end, giving a gentle sigh.] People were transformed into... mythical creatures such as werewolves or [She stops a moment, and it's noticeable.] vampires. It occurred before I arrived, but... friends were affected by it.

The curses cannot seem to be halted. For things such as the witch... We must simply hope that any future attacks of the like can be staved off, somehow, should they come about.

Some do. Others have not been quite as fortunate, but... There are enough good people out here to outweigh those of a more questionable variety, I think. Were it not for that fact, I think after the last month, many of us would no longer be standing here... Myself included.

That is what I must keep telling myself, however. It becomes hard not to worry about that which is around the corner, though...

...no, I am afraid it was not. [Ah, uneasiness rises. This is still hard to talk about, especially with strangers.] That was the... witch...

[She composes herself as quickly as she can.] Yes, indeed. One thing at a time is the best approach, or else all of this would become... far too overwhelming.

Wanting to help everyone is a noble goal, but it can be best to pace yourself, yes.
